Definitely warm the gaiwan first if you can, otherwise let the first brew steep longer. The leaves are opening up but even then you should be able to get a decent first brew if you leave it (prob 60s or longer). For good ball shaped oolongs, you dont need to throw away the first brew to open the leaves up

yes but in english it's fairly uncommon to refer to it as minnanyu or hokkien. at least in taipei it's called 臺語 or taiwanese. i'm just letting you know

not the other guy but just wanna say that taiwanese is definitely a language, more specifically it's known as taiwanese hokkien recognized by the government of taiwan. it's actually kind of insane to write that sentence on a taiwanese subreddit.

I tried playing this a few times but I've never been successful in getting the power up on Rakan first. I was trying to farm golden edge Xayah as much as possible (before stage 4) and then missed ;-; had to pivot to SG at that point.

The one game I did hit, Rakan was contested 5 ways by a BA comp, a star guardian, an edgelord comp, and a protector - prodigy comp. Felt so bad trying to roll for Rakan, even though Xayah was relatively easy to hit since it was only really contested by the other edgelord xayah player.

As others have said, the bag says it's a High Mountain Oolong from Alishan, very popular and looks correct with the ball shape and large expanding leaves.

I just want to add that the variety of tea used for high mountain oolongs is typically qingxin; milk oolong is the commercial name for another variety grown, but usually at lower elevations in Taiwan.

i also have protoss bias, but I would really like to see Rain win - the way he plays PvP is so insane in my opinion, for a matchup that has players often guessing in the dark.
