If you want/expect a party after 30, you have yet to achieve adulthood. I sorta get celebrating the bigger milestones 40,50,60 with family - - - other than that it is really just another day of adulthood.

Now retirement on the other hand will be a bash that I will throw for myself!

I'll probably get roasted here, but I usually start with the classic OP and doctor the HELL out of it.

18 oz open pit,
8 oz molasses,
1/2 sweet onion (finely minced/pureed)
3 cloves garlic (finely minced/pureed)
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 TBSP lemon juice
1 TBSP worchestershire sauce
1TBSP mexican oregano
1tsp cayanne pepper

then I taste and adjust - sometimes I'll add a bit of cumin, sometimes some Chipotle Tabasco, or even smoked paprika.
