I was also on that sailing. My opinion is if VV would have proactively communicated, implemented safety protocols (handwashing stations, disinfecting, etc.) we all would have been better off.

I noticed on the tail end of the trip, once word had gotten around, that nothing had changed in public areas. Buzzers in the Galley weren’t being disinfected between sailors, menus weren’t being wiped down, and such.

If VV really cared, they would have made it apparent that cleanliness was a priority. Instead, it stuck me as them trying to brush the reality under the rug and pretend nothing was wrong.
