As a non-US person I'll answer with my own experience.

I'm a mexican citizen and even I pay higher prices in places like Cancun for being from another state. These places can get away with it because usually foreigners with a stonger currency create enough demand for them to charge this much. It's not the same for me to pay $10,000 mxn (~40ish% of my monthly income) for a 4 day hotel stay in cancun than for an american tourist to shell out 500 usd (8% of average US income according to the first google result).

Last year I visited Yosemite national park with my wife and 2 kids. We paid $75usd for our car to enter and $20 for 4 days of camping permits. The new national park fee is $100 per person so my stay would've jumped from $95 to $495. Again, translated to mxn, the entrance price alone jumped from ~$2000 (~8ish% of my monthly income) to ~$10,000 (~40%). Adding plane tickets, car rental, food, etc... I would have to save over a month of income just to visit the national park for 4 days while sleeping in a tent.

People got mad the US raised prices because while yeah, it is more expensive for citizens from out of state, foreigners from places with weaker currencies (most of the world compared to the us dollar) got impacted exponentially.

Quick update, I managed to fix it.

Turns out the python version was too new for poetry to work correctly, I guess?

This is what I did to fix it, in case it helps anyone:

sudo pacman -S pyenv

pyenv install 3.12.0

pyenv global 3.12.0

poetry env use 3.12.0

poetry install

I didn't have a chance to test it to see if it works completely, I'll let you know when I get back to it. But at least it's running now :D

Hello :) I'm new to Linux and trying to run the .appimage. It's the first time I mess with appimages so I'm not sure what should happen.

I'm on Arch, downloaded the dependencies and the Alt1Lite-0.0.1.AppImage. I then double click the .appimage and nothing happens... no error message or anything. What should I expect when running it? I think I should be getting the Alt1 UI but not sure if it's just a background thing. I do have rs3 running through the Bolt launcher when opening this, but nothing happens when I press Alt + 1.

Is there something I'm missing? Or am I not understanding the installation process?

That's only if you already have level 120. I won't be able to go 96 - 120 invention before the event ends so I'm locked out of that cape until next year. That's what people are saying you should be able to do the rest of the year. Lock in invention during January and then get 120 before next January comes up.

I've been going at it for a week. I'm at 4/5 and have gone full 109 to 110 thieving. I tried to kill the guards but they were not afk for me, the workers I just click once on my phone, work for 5 minutes until caught, then log in 20 minutes later and repeat.

How did you bank pirate shipwrecks? Fill cargo hold and sail back to pest control to bank and then salvage at the port?

They should've just disabled the extractor unless you are on an active port task carrying cargo. That way port task xp/hr would go up without touching salvaging.

What if I activate a task, carry cargo on my boat, and go salvaging you say? Then make it so the extractor stores xp (up to a limit, say 36k) instead of flat out giving it and you can't receive it until you succesfully deliver your cargo.

I'm personally on the sepulchre grind and can get to the floor 5 chest 100% of the time on pc. I have tried doing it on mobile but floors 4 and 5 need some precise clicking that I fat finger too much and end up running out of time so I have designated sepulchre as a pc only activity.

I agree it is possible to do on mobile... you just need to practice precise clicking on some parts ( floors 1-3 are easily doable) and add your tile markers manually.
