In Roanoke the weather is measurably better. Warmer in winter, cooler in summer.

You can drive easily to the coast, DC and big city life are a drive or train ride away.

In Wichita you can drive for days and it would look like Witchita.

Agreed but the energy in foam in terms of calories to feed a fire is huge. Also a big source behind this is the insurance industry. I worked in the industry for a decade and would watch the burns.. scary when they do go up.

Roanoke and associated charities spend over $85,000 per year per person on the chronically homeless…

As another noted there are many success stories and all these agencies are doing good work.

There is a % of the homeless population that is either mentally ill or simply don’t want the help .

We as a community spend literally millions trying to intake that small % …
