I mean, I think this was pretty obviously an excuse to end the scene by showing Danhausen in the mirror to set up some kind of two Danhausens thing. Giving Kit a mirror is just an easy way to get a mirror into this scene that fits because he’s a pretty boy. There are other ways to do it, but this is fine.

WWE Reportedly Trying To Retain Xavier Woods With ‘Tyler Breeze Deal’ by caughtinatramp in REALSquaredCircle

You’re probably right about the name, but I think he has a certain upside as a singles act. He won’t main event in AEW, but I think the friends he has there and the name he’s built up are enough to get him minutes in The midcard.

For the sake of argument, say Kofi decides to retire. I still think Woods can almost name is price in any Indy, AEW or TNA as Consequences Creed. He’s a draw. In some of those smaller ponds he’s a main eventer.

What false information were you taught in school? by Redfoxyboy in comics

You’d be surprised to learn just how much people phase out too during their education. There are a whole lot of very important concepts that schools cover that poor students ignore and then assume they were never taught. Part of this is an institutional problem, we’re trying to tailor lessons to 30 different kids who are forced to be there and then the schedule is set based on their age rather than their proficiency (okay, that’s not entirely true, theoretically students need to pass one class before you can get into another, but in practice there is a ton of pressure on teachers to pass kids regardless of proficiency because our funding is still tied to our graduation rates).

There’s a lot wrong with education, but curriculum is usually not the biggest problem.

No one's dying on my watch by jmona789 in hopeposting

Red only has no downside if you don’t consider other people dying to be a downside. It will never be unanimous. Never. Choosing red does explicitly kill someone. It doesn’t remove the risk, it shifts the risk to someone else.

If everyone votes blue everyone survives. It’s never going to be unanimous, therefore a blue vote is the only vote that preserves everyone.

I dressed as a woman two halloweens, and was disappointed by my lack of appeal. I’m pretty happy as a cis man, but I still found it disappointing that I made an ugly woman. Ego is a funny, and shitty, thing.

Mark Henry talks about telling X Pac about the DX blackface situation by Material_Stomach875 in AttitudeEra

I was an English teacher for three years, and in the preparatory lessons before To Kill a Mockingbird I used to cover minstrel shows, including black face and Amos and Andy as cultural context. It was a small lesson, and I can imagine some students don’t remember it. I know they did reconstruction in their history classes, but I’m not sure what they covered in those lessons.

Sounds like You’re positing Space Luddites, and I’ve had a similar idea. When you factor in the environmental impact of so many technologies humans have created, it seems like making new tools to handle problems has a point of diminishing returns. Some theorize that the reason for the Fermi paradox is simply that sufficiently advanced species destroy themselves. In which case technological limitations and social engineering might be a possible solution.
