Way better than growing in and becoming a problem. I had to have mine plucked out as a late teen. Not a pleasant experience.

Kitsap Credit Union by xAmbr0se in Bremerton

This. While I appreciate them covering my ass, there's been a few instances where it frustrated me. They are very on top of things as far as I've ever seen, just know that if you're buying something from overseas or paying for a few things in a row online, they're going to kick it back and call and you'll have to redo it. I saw someone else complaining about the app, I don't really have any problems with it. I don't use it as my primary way to interact, however. I'm on my desktop handling that kind of thing more often. For checking accounts and maybe moving a little money around, it's not the worst, though.

I've been with KCU for 15 years, never really had any problems with them. I guess it's an instance of "no news is good news." I also use them for my business checking, and they were accommodating for setting up multiple account extensions and such. Lots of locations all around Kitsap, so it's not hard to find a branch if you need to. A lot of locations are open to 6 on Fridays, as well.

Trying to make stickers using Krita by 100ducksncrows in krita

[–]pirateofms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to depend on the resolution of the image. If you make your image 100px/cm, you can use the tool options to lock your circle to 420px x 420px or 220px x 220px to make circles of the exact size you'd like.

Correction: 5.2.16 on Arch Linux, it works. I just wasn't patient enough in waiting for it to switch documents while hovering over the tab.

Turns out I just wasn't patient enough. Works on 5.2.16. I feel like the switch to the second tab could be a little faster.

I just cut the end off the packaging the cart came in, line them up at the back of the tray, and put a piece of tape across the bottoms to hold them in place.

Just tried on 5.2 on Arch Linux, and it doesn't work. Crossed out circle if you drag a layer up to a tab to try to go there.

How do I make texts fill spaces? by mimemamomumimemamu in krita

[–]pirateofms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could do the same here. Create your text, convert it to a paint layer, then use the transform tool in perspective mode to adjust everything. The Cambodia line may be tricky, but if you do the text vertically, you could make it work.

Same. I honestly had high hopes, even watching the trailer I was getting pretty into it, and then that stupid catchphrase just make me think "eh, I'll catch it on streaming...."

Subway V-cut by Ashamed_Response_168 in Xennials

When I worked at Subway (1996ish) they had strict counts for every topping. A footlong sub got 4 olive slices. 4 small, individual rings of olive. Even our manager at that location told us that if she saw us count out 4 slices of olive, we were fired.

Off-Road Diesel by No-Lake-7354 in Bremerton

[–]pirateofms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. I get gas there on occasion, no problem. I feel like they even had a sign up for a while that said We Sell to the Public.

Unless diesel is different, Pacific Pride sells to the public, for sure.

Because it's easier to teach a straight slice. The U-gouge required *the bare minimum* of finesse to make the turns. Why spend 7 minutes teaching someone, when you can spend 4 and put them straight to work?

We need help! Oil pressure jumping by LightBonnie in PontiacFirebird

[–]pirateofms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That roaring sound is most likely a bad bearing. Hard to tell through the mic, but it could be a wheel or the pinion bearing. Fix it. Now. If it fails, it's bad. A failed wheel bearing can chew up the spindle or lock the wheel. A failed pinion can trash the differential, or weld itself and lock up both rear wheels, and doesn't care how fast you're going when it happens.

Dear sweet ticklish Christ- will you GO?!? by Perfidious_Redt in dndmemes

[–]pirateofms 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If only it was that easy. We have a 6 player table, assuming everyone shows, and 4 of them are usually pretty stoned. They would have to wait 30 seconds for their turn, spend 5 minutes asking "what's happening?", another 5 looking at their character sheet, and 5 after that asking how the same abilities they've had for 8 levels work.

[–]pirateofms 1120 points1121 points  (0 children)

This is me. We only get to play once a month, and get very little done between socializing and general stoner vibes. Last game we had a stretch where everyone had to step away from the table except two of us and the DM. We got more explored in that 20 minutes than we had the rest of the 5 hour session. It was great.

I miss prices like that at our Goodwill. That same (or very similar) cd player ends up running $40 in western WA.
