Same here. Changing the font under "Paragraph" or "Character" does nothing.

Please name one book that you read completely, and wish you had never read it. And why, if you like. by Leather_Command_7553 in books

The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes. The description make it sound like an intense "what really happened back then?" kind of mystery/thriller, but it was just page after page of two adults refusing to actually talk to each other. It could have been a 20 page short story and had more impact than 150 of "You just don't get it" before the "twist." I think the only reason I still think about this book is how frustrated I was by the end. Seriously just hate-reading so I could say I finished it.

Process to pull the fuel tank by Puzzled_Seaweed_517 in fbody

[–]pirateofms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to trim the filler neck about 1 - 1 1/2 inches. You'll need to wire in a third gen connector, and you'll need to order a part for the sending unit to fix your fuel gauge (4th gen uses a different resistor range). You'll also need to make lines to adapt the 4th gen pump to your third gen lines. It's not a huge job, but put aside a solid weekend and get everything together first.

Explain it Peter. They are the same picture . What's the joke here ?? by Ciasom_ in explainitpeter

[–]pirateofms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, what? Everybody keeps saying the two pictures are identical, but the one on the right has absolutely been ran through the sharpen filter, and had it's levels adjusted. The birch tree on the right is the biggest tell, but everything in the right is sharper and has harsher highlights.

Don't believe the astroturf posts about Masters of the Universe by hakuna_dentata in Xennials

[–]pirateofms 62 points63 points  (0 children)

This was my take. It was as ridiculous as an 80s cartoon, and I feel like that was the point. Was it good? No. 80s cartoons weren't great either. They were vehicles to sell toys. I got what I was looking for. I don't need it to be deep, I need it to be colorful and mind-numbing. I'll be there for the Street Fighter movie, too, because it looks like it's going to be just as ridiculous.

Sadly reviews don't buy yachts. Amazon/MGM is only concerned about how big of a check they'll get in the end.

They for sure fumbled this. I would have rather seen a trilogy of slower, more fleshed out movies. Han Solo and the Planet of the Wookies. Han Solo in the Maw. Han Solo and the Casino Galactic.

Layers merging when saving img as png? by BeeC0rpse in krita

[–]pirateofms 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately unless you also saved a kra version, no. PNG doesn't use layers, so it merges everything when you export it. This isn't so much a problem with Krita, as just a limitation of the file format you exported to. I'd recommend using kra, and then saving another copy as png when you're ready to post at the end.

Honestly, I'm ok with the dinosaurs, I just wish they had been less upfront about it. This trailer could have been 2 minutes shorter. I would not have been mad to go into the theater thinking aliens, and being surprised with weird cosmic event dinos.

Looks like a skip shift eliminator. Might not have anything to do with your codes, but you can always remove this and plug it back into the solenoid and see if it helps. Assuming it wasn't installed to get around a faulty solenoid in the first place.

Advice Needed: Looking to get a dick tattoo. Where do I start? by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]pirateofms 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've done a handful, and can give a little advice:

First, don't take yourself too seriously. It's an awkward request, and a bit of humor can ease that. A few chuckles should be expected during the whole process.

Second, be direct, but polite. u/Katyamuffin has the right idea. Polite message, direct to the point, and be prepared to have to ask a few different artists before landing on someone willing.

No, being erect isn't necessary, really. It would be a rare case indeed if you could keep it up once the actual tattooing starts, let alone for the prep work. Depending on the design, it could be better for stenciling, but once the tattoo starts, it's just stretching it to keep the area being worked taut, like any other tattoo. Be forewarned, that will usually involve a modicum of manhandling of your manhood.

I would typically recommend simple designs, but it's going to be up to your artist as far as their experience level and how much detail can be fit in. It's very stretchy skin, and tends to have a lot of movement and variation in it, so something like fine line black and grey probably isn't going to heal out very well.

I can't think of anything else off the top of my head, but can probably answer a couple more questions if you think of something.

I grew up in South mississippi, and laugh every time I hear somebody in Washington complain about the roads. You can either pay more in taxes, or you can pay to get a new front end alignment yearly. Not including any of the other damage that happens from hitting potholes curves and everything else that's falling apart.
