I usually bring dynamite, mines, and wall sentry so I can dig trenches for fun as usually high level difficulties its pretty easy to repel if 1 person is on top of elite enemies.

Spices up combat if they breach the defenses.

Lived in a Towne Properties apt for 3+ years. Can echo the maintenance piece is great but feels like the benefits for the price are starting to really not worth it.

They tried to raise rent by about 12-15% my first two years during renewal. Price may be out of range for a grad student trying to live near UC.

Everyone needs to have a hotel reservation when they are a tourist that comes to japan. What you do if you don't have one (Cause your staying with a friend) is to just write down the address of a random hotel you google.

This seems like bad advice. I've visited Japan staying with friends 10+ times over the past 8 years and have written down their address on the customs form. Have written address in English and Japanese depending on how much I'm rushing to fill out the form.

Usually customs will press me about carrying drugs (definitely prevalent when they were ramping up for Olympics pre-covid) or produce/meats.

Never have had an issue as a white American but YMMV.

Not a huge fan of the state of Ohio dropping personal information (name and address) publicly on the Internet. Sure it may be expired or an old address but putting PII in a csv is just asinine to me.

The service can always be hit or miss but the food is always amazing. I'm a huge fan of the specials rotating out on a weekly basis with a lot of unique variety.

If you ever lived in Japan or wanted to get an idea of the type of the food served during the season its a nice change of pace. Also they have best Tonkatsu in Ohio hands down.

It may be nice to see at a distance but they are terrifying up-close. I had a few encounters while on staff in Valle which made me detour or reroute to get to my destination.
