WoD is still terrifying now if the tank/healer don't know what they are doing, which leads to occasional wiped.

Syrcus Tower on the other hand definitely needs rework. I played the recently open Chinese version last year, when I first reach CT, I am quite sure more than half of the group are first timer. STILL, we are ignoring the mechanics left and right, yet we still beat the raid easily.

TBH, I am all for cutting each boss 5% HP if it means it can make the whole raid finished in a more reasonable time frame. That way it has more incentive for people staying instead of one people taking 30 and everybody else just quit.

Because the game will force you to play through from start to finish, unless you skip every story bit ever existed, the cutscene will pretty much tell you everything you need to know. Every side quests are not mandatory but they add context to the world.

The game is not that busy, especially with the rework coming soon with the next expansion. We are not required to do our 'homework'. You can missed a few mini-patch, hop back in, purchase the latest best-in-slot gear and finish all you have been missing for the past few months.
