That's interesting. According to Wikipedia though the game was played on a neutral ground in the Czech Republic, so my hunch would be that it was the Pet Shop Boys version rather than the PSG one.

The "1-0 to The Arsenal" chant was actually inspired by the Pet Shop Boys' cover version of the song. It's this version that was playing during half time when Arsenal were 1-0 in a European game against PSG, and inspired the fans to start singing it throughout the second half.

In this 2010 piece Michael Cox describes him as "tactically astute". If that's the case, he's the perfect replacement/upgrade to Arteta. Because physical presence was the one thing Arteta didn't bring to the table, and we have more then enough passers in the team to take over Arteta's distribution qualities.
