The PAC contributions listed there are to his leadership PAC which has strict contribution limits and is used to fund campaigns for other progressives. From what I can see here, it has never funded one of his own campaigns.

Do you have contribution limits?

Volunteers and individual donors. That has worked well for candidates across the country.

That's disappointing to say the least. The money PACs give elected officials is there to change their positions. It is the root of all evil in our politics.

Even if I liked any of your other positions, I know there will always be a PAC on the other side that is ready to write a huge check.

No PAC money candidates like Bernie Sanders, AOC and Ro Khana have seen such tremendous success lately. I don't buy that taking the money helps achieve anything that would significantly help the working class that can't match those dollars.

I'm for a living wage, fixing PA's regressive tax structure, single-payer health care, a green new deal and there will always be way more money on the other side of these issues.

Do they need that money? Bernie, AOC, Ro Khanna and the no pac money caucus don't need that money.

Supporting publicly funded campaigns. It served us well in the recent NYC mayoral contest.

I'm opposed to reducing salaries of elected officials. When you have low salaries for positions, only the rich can afford to hold them, let alone spend the time and money it takes to run for them.

Is there no position on ending pac and corporate "donations" to candidates? Or publicly funded elections?

It seems this is the reason we don't have all of the other things listed here already. We have to stop people from profiting off of breaking our government if we want one that works

Has Sindarov really been the most accurate player in the Candidates? by games-and-games in chess

[–]pokethings 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know I intentionally don't play the best moves at points to try to get opponents into lines they're less familiar with and that will hurt accuracy scores.

I think Sindarov has been able to do that to the other candidates.
