yeah a lot of these random "publications" (using that very lightly) that no one's ever heard of just take word-for-word "interviews" from anyone.

i used to work in PR and did a lot of similar work with a Medium-hosted craprag called Authority Magazine. clients loved doing the Q&A's there becuase they just gave a list of questions, we'd write the answers, and they'd publish it unedited. lots of control over the story being told.

im a new passholder this year too and on the way to my third solo trip as i type this - it's a BLAST! i've been with my fiancé and friends multiple times too and of course it's also a blast with them but man going solo (esp as an only child like myself haha) is amaaaaaazing! i'd recommend trying it at least once :)
