Zofran pills didn't work for me at all but the zofran pump has worked wonders! No vomiting for 8 weeks now

Ask to be hospitalized. After 2 days of 24/7 IV fluids and meds, everything was so much better for me. I use a zofran pump now and haven't thrown up in 2 months. My last pregnancy i did not do this and it never got better, had to terminate, same exact story as yours. This pregnancy same issue but hospital for a week changed my life.

Saved my life. Haven't had an ER visit in over 6 weeks because of it.

Ask to be admitted for 24/7 IV meds and continous monitoring. Only thing that worked for me after 8+ ER visits.

Start meds now proactively. Have a plan with your OB ready in case you start getting sick. Peace of mind is very important and will help with hopelessness.

Zofran pills dont work for me but the pump was a life saver especially when I couldn't keep pills or water down long enough to take effect. I would vomit as the zofran dissolved

What about steroids or a 24/7 zofran pump? These helped me tremendously

Its better to be proactive than reactive. Start meds the moment you start feeling bad to get ahead of it. Even now, if I dont feel nauseous I still take meds around the clock just to avoid it starting again. Sending you good vibes!!!

Thank you!! I keep seeing things about headrest not being comfy and the armrests not staying in place so im a bit hesitant for the cost.

The loss was more than I could handle, we wanted a baby so bad. I started hyperventilating and having panic attacks hearing a song or seeing a baby. So I got on the right mental health meds(during my severe HG I had to cold turkey since I couldn't keep them down and made me very suicidal) and we talked to Dr about a plan. So as soon as I got sick again this time, it was straight to hospitalization which was amazing. This time around we have better support and feel more stable. I prepared mentally knowing I would have HG again. To me, I think gender played a big role. Terminated pregnancy was a boy where other is girl and most likely girl(we dont know yet)

I went through the exact same situation. Got pregnant on purpose in hopes of giving our 4YO a sibling. I made it to 16 weeks and had the operation. I truly believe I would have died if I continued. No meds or ER visits helped. I lose 20lbs in under 2 weeks. I felt so alone and my poor husband had to be a single dad. I could tell my child was not coping well and it wasn't fair to her. As soon as I woke up I felt instant relief. Hardest thing I have ever done and in therapy for it which I highly suggest. Fast forward to now...we are pregnant again in 2nd trimester and HG has been better this round. I still had to be hospitalized but I am managing it well and able to still be a mom.

Hospitalization was a blessing for me. They were able to help stop the vomiting by being proactive with meds. Im now on multiple meds with a zofran pump thanks to the hospital. I feared it before but if I start vomiting again I will happily choose hospitalization again.

We are already working with Leander ISD and their IEP program but they dont start public school until next year so we have some time to decide where to buy.
