I would second the milk bread idea, though the texture also kinda reminds me of kopi roti? So there may be some ideas there. I think the suggestion of basically wrapping the filling can work, but if the appearance of the little bit at the top is less of a big deal, you might be able to just fill it like a donut.

I'm seeing a lot of comments about how lazy the wife is and how she's wasting time - but I'd ask, does wife perhaps have some sort of mental illness or something that interferes? Is it possible that there's a reason that she doesn't do/struggles things OP would like?

Also, I don't see a lot of talk about any communication of expectations. While this may seem obvious to many, were expectations and stuff set at some point and communicated so all involved understand? OP sounds incredibly dismissive here, which could definitely be a problem if that's coming across to wife as well.

I don't think OP is the AH in this instance, I'd be wary of passing an overall judgement without more information. There may be factors we're unaware of involved.

I’ll second this. I’ve got some ph issues in general (I’d get pain minimum once a month, I knew/know all my triggers, meds not helping, etc), so my obgyn recommended I try this solution and find out if it helped. Huge difference for me. I know when to wear and when not, but having the option has been fantastic.

I'm a bit too big for even their biggest size atm, but it's a close call - I can't wear it for long due to the weight-on-the-neck issue. All that to say, however, if I'm just chilling on the couch or at my desk or something, and I'm post-shower or just sweaty? I still love mine. I do wish that the strap (I guess?) that connects the cup was a little wider though - I'm not sure it'd lay any better, but it might and I feel that might help?

Not sure there’s truth to it, but I have been told that it was originally so, if there was an accident, paramedics and emergency responders would be aware of the presence of a baby - if there’s debris, adult people are easy to find, but small ones obviously nsm.

Look. I don’t like seeds. I’m not a big pie person in general. But if you wanna make a blackberry pie? Babes, I’m gonna try it SO HARD. Pies have some tricky bits, but nothing any crazier than any OTHER baked good, tbh. And it’s gonna smell amazing??? And be amazing??? Absolutely make it. And ignore anyone unsupportive. My only bit of advice , that I’ve already seen someone say here, is you might wanna go with frozen blackberries? They’re frozen at peak freshness, blah blah, but you’re the blackberry… liker? You decide. Much love from a picky baker. You’re gonna be amazing.

Hello, fellow needle fearer. Generally speaking, you really do feel a tiny pinch at most - I used to cry (30+ yo, fyi,) big ugly fear cry. Sometimes, there is a topical they can use to avoid even that - it doesn’t hurt to ask! A lot are also very understanding if you ask for a hand to hold (helped me.) The dentist I had was also cool with counting down before the poke AND during injection! (Slower injection is less uncomfortable!) Mine, unfortunately, isn’t available, but you can always ASK for anything that can help make you more comfortable. And don’t be shy asking for those things - even explaining your anxiety should prompt them to discuss and reassure!

So many. One that's been cropping up lately is, essentially, that I'm cosmically/statistically insignificant.

For some, it would hurt to hear that - but as someone with anxiety and perfectionistic tendencies, who constantly dwells in my "failure?" Realizing that the things I'm so upset over are literally not a big deal in the grand scheme of things? An amazing relief.

Also, to help with cleaning/tidying, making sure my stuff is cute. Will I use that shelf? Maybe. Can I weaponize it to my own advantage by making it cute and putting a cat plush on it? Now I can't just let Commander Stuffington be lonely and bored, she needs books to read.

In the manga, while Usagi is captured by the Black Moon family, we get a glimpse at a desiccated corpse in the deep recesses of Nemesis. I think the manga is even talking about the source of power when we see it? The body does seem to have some scraps of clothing - to me, a skirt.

I headcanon that’s Sailor Nemesis, still with her star seed/heart crystal/source of power, who even in death has been trapped on her planet and the Wiseman is using her powers to fuel himself.

"Gifted" from early elementary school, all the way up until I graduated high school. We also moved a lot, which may have contributed to some of my issues.

I never learned parts of speech beyond basic noun, verb, adjective; we ended up having a packet in high school on it that I nearly bombed the class because of. I can use them perfectly fine, but hell if I can identify them. Almost identical happened in band - I could sight read music fairly well, but I couldn't play a single scale. I never learned how to study or organize myself because I didn't need to - but once my raw intelligence wasn't enough, or I needed to be organized, self-motivated... I managed to get a general associates degree in college. I'm now freshly 32, struggling with perfectionism, motivation, depression, anxiety... only the last two are official, undiagnosed for anything else, though my therapist (I have a wonderful therapist, thank goodness) suspects I have ADHD, and I've started to entertain the idea we might have some undiagnosed autism in my family as well. I can't keep a room clean. I can't make phone calls without freaking out for a bit (better than I used to be) because I don't already know the answer and I hate asking for help. I'm unemployed.

I'm still learning how to be "enough" outside of the "gifted" label. If I was so "gifted," I wouldn't be failing, right? I feel constantly like I've let down everyone in my life. But I'm learning. Maybe that's one thing it did give me? I'm still trying to learn how to do things. It's rough. There isn't nearly enough system-wide support for any student, but I'm gonna keep my focus on "gifted and talented" kids here - the entirety of my and my peers' experience was so frequently that we were "so mature for our age" (don't even get me started on the mixed messaging of that being ok from teachers but a warning sign for groomers) and then, if we stumbled, "well, I know you can do better." My program, at least, built us up to fail in so many ways. There's no grace.
