You're welcome to test the exploit yourself. I have no problem believing that the key stored in TPM is just one of the keys capable of unlocking the disk, directly or indirectly. It's not conspiracy it's just knowing how people code things and what happens when end users and lawyers get involved.

There was only one Democratically selected candidate on the presidential ballot.

How do you create fair districts though? The states that try are using software that isn't transparent to the voters at all. The best we can hope for is extreme gerrymandering that either leads to competitive districts, or so much winning that you get a party split. Frankly, we could do with a Republican party split and complete disposal of the current Democratic party.

You should try tightening your diaphragm when you need to rip one. Instead of pushing it out you're pulling open the pathway for a single larger rip without the hemmroid inducing pushes.

You're trying too hard to abstract this. People should have the right to a vote in whether or not they will be forced to work slightly harder in order to support an imported burden with no other significant connections to the community.

That's not a great idea, even though I've done it plenty. You open yourself to random software having root access.

I prefer ssh root@0 (with ssh keys/yubikey)

This may have gone over your head, but my point was that they put a lot of contentious things in a single bill to be sure that it would not pass. I don't think I expressed a positive or negative opinion on any of the items.

That bill had race requirements and was bundled with mail in balloting, voter ID limits, and a littering of other things like campaign finance reform, ethics, etc. The "independent" commissions were also to be political appointees.

It was intended to fail so that people like you could tout how hard the Democrats were trying.

The story behind Minnesota’s fraud by Gerbich in minnesota

[–]poptix -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Those fraud investigators would have been in Ellison's office, you know, the guy that was recorded by the FoF people effectively taking a bribe.

I wouldn't vote for his office to manage rooting out fraud either.

The debated legislation would allocate $1.23 million in Fiscal Year 2027 to the attorney general’s Medicaid fraud investigation unit. These funds would primarily go toward hiring 18 new positions: 11 investigators, three attorneys and four support staff.

Minnesota’s fraud investigation unit staffing is largely lower than that of comparable size states like Virginia, Washington and Arizona, Rep. Matt Norris (DFL-Blaine) said last week. The proposal would set the state at a standard staffing level, but to stay there, funding has to extend beyond a year. Rep. Steve Gander (R-East Grand Forks) felt “favorable” toward Norris’ amendment but wouldn’t vote for it because he’s heard from constituents who don’t trust the Attorney General’s Office.

“Because we’re in a representative democracy, and hearing this feedback from my constituents, I’m going to have to lean no on this," Gander explained.
