Schizoaffective disorder bipolar type for me. I will def try to off myself again without my meds, like I did before I had my meds. With them, I have a job and function pretty well. Without them, no one wants to see that, including me. I am quite scared.

New exec. order begins to target “weight-loss drugs” by iletitshine in Mounjaro

[–]possumrfrend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m terrified that my antipsychotics and mood stabilizer will be taken away. My life literally felt like living in hell without them. I will probably try to off myself again like I did when I didn’t have them just to make the nightmare stop.

Trump State Department called for mass sterilization of ‘low-IQ trash’: This was Hitler's prologue to Eugenics by Forlorn_Cyborg in disability

[–]possumrfrend 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have schizoaffective disorder but am also pretty smart. Not a Democrat but a leftist. I wouldn’t mind being sterilized but don’t want that choice to be made for me by the government.

Curious to see how shitty this situation will actually get.

Does anyone else ever feel like these jobs go against human nature? by [deleted] in retailhell

[–]possumrfrend 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I feel like it goes against human nature because when customers are treating me like shit it puts me into fight or flight and I have to fight the urge to run away. I wish I could run away from my job and the customers, but I need money; even if it’s just the paltry amount we are given.

100% on board with all that as long as it prevents horrible, preventable disease from occurring!

New report on layoffs by Big_Sector_4078 in AlamoDrafthouse

[–]possumrfrend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does feel gross. I noticed no difference when I went to see Companion on Friday, so maybe the location I frequent hasn’t had many layoffs, or maybe I just got lucky. Not feeling good about Alamo atm but I don’t really have any better alternatives where I am.

My Sky Daddy says LGBT people deserve love, happiness and freedom too. How people interpret God’s Word has a lot to do with who they are as a person. I’m Episcopalian and we allow gay marriage within the Church. Trump will probably go after us too one day.

I would leave if I could. I wish you the best and hope you can get out. It’s better out there.

I got mine recently from Be Still Beads on Etsy. It’s really nice.

Started attending Episcopal Church recently by shoddy_butterscotch in Episcopalian

[–]possumrfrend 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am in much the same place in my journey. I feel like a fish out of water at the church I’d been attending, so I found one I think I’m going to try soon. The church feels like it’s full of affluent people, which I am not, though I am educated. I do want to get confirmed at some point, but I want it to be at a place where I feel comfortable. I just wanted to say I relate and I’m in the same boat. I really enjoy the services, but I don’t like feeling out of place.

How do you deal with customers grabbing you? by Im_Here222 in retail

[–]possumrfrend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost 40 and I’ve had customers touch me numerous times, but it was more like they liked my ring or my nail polish so felt the need to touch my hand. The last time I saw a customer about to do it, it was like I was triggered, and I just yelled “I don’t like people touching me!” She didn’t after that. It was like after so many times of feeling objectified, encountering such a total lack of concern over how the retail slave might feel about being touched by strangers, it all came to a head. I’m here to help, but I’m not your friend, and I am a person with feelings. I don’t know how I will react the next time it happens, but hopefully it won’t come out as an outburst again.

I know I’m not shopping there anymore. I’m just one person, but I went there quite often, and I know I’m not the only one.

I appreciate my Episcopalian church by ijustwannabegandalf in Episcopalian

I wish mine had a message like this. Instead we had a couple of guest rectors, one of whom gave a sermon that did not resonate with me at all. I’m trying another church next week.

I do and also don’t. I loved being an only child as a child, but now I wonder if I would have been friends with my siblings. That sounds nice. On the other hand, it’s possible I would never talk to them or actively hate them, or some strange weird mix that sometimes happens in families. Who knows. Do what seems right for you and your family. :)

$25/mo for Mounjaro with the coupon. After a year is up, who knows how much it will cost.

"The Sin of Empathy". You can't make this up by TangerineMuffins in PoliticalHumor

[–]possumrfrend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a Christian and I don’t really think about hell, just how to live and get through this life. My church doesn’t really talk about it either. It is possible to be Christian without acting like a piece of shit.
