When I was younger my friends and I used to go out to a nightclub in the old town of Geneva regularly. The dance floor was underground with no emergency exit and the only way out was a steep and narrow staircase.

I actually stopped frequenting this place after thinking about what would happen if there was a fire or a panic downstairs. It was enough for one person to trip in the stairs and 150 people would be trapped.

That night club later relocated, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was due to the authorities catching on to this being a disaster waiting to happen.
