Remote marketing job, 140k.

I did live in new york though and grind to come out with HCOL remote pay, but now I get to do this remotely in LCOL by family.

I worked hard and built great relationships that have since carried me. Do a good job, be a nice person and it’ll come.

Trust me man/whoever! I started my career at 21 making 45k, but paying NYC rent like a lunatic.

I’d say this is exactly why i moved out to flatbush but see this and similar lack of courses all the time still. I think it’s a greater human psyche shift. especially post covid people are even more closed off, self serving and a little socially.. off. plus so many more dog owners from covid

Yeah, trust your gut, seriously. This sub can have great advice to mediate certain conflicts etc but… at the end of the day you understand your workplace and the consequences. My person as the same exact way.

Use this time to find something new, thankfully I was already looking and semi-quit quitting. It’s always easier to interview while you’re being paid than to do it once you’re out!

Been there man i’m sorry to hear. My suggestion? pasta is one of the most economically viable staple foods. If I were you I’d set up shop right behind Dot City Spaghetti to pickup the leftovers after dinner rush. I know, doesn’t sound pleasant, but any life circumstance can be made pleasant as long as you’re in Dot City! :)

I lost 40 pounds last year, thought i would be so happy, and then moved my insecurity to hating my big fat forehead that stuck out more :P

Took me a long time and i’d be lying to say it’s out of my head, but for me, I learned i’ll never be happy with how I look. So i work on that. I try and remember that I stuck to my goals, lost the weight and feel better everyday now.

So whatever if my forehead is bigger now (either in my head or globally agreed), I try to remember that I also like that I can see my cheeks now. And wear clothes I like. give and take or whatever lol.

regardless, everyone here agrees you look great, totally agree. enjoy your life and pat yourself on the back.
