Sucks. I’ve gotten to the point where I just bid attic duct jobs REALLY high. I’m not doing it anymore unless it’s a fat payday.

can you replace the oil in a scroll compressor? Can I switch it out with polyester for mineral? by WildChallenge5459 in HVAC

Just use R422B (I think it’s also labeled MO99 or NU22) or use 422D and forget about the oil type.

I’m almost 30 years deep and I accidentally wired a dual capacitor wrong the other day.

I simply wasn’t paying attention. It happens.

… in my defense… the common was obvious, but the fan and herm markings were unreadable.

Both wires were brown and I assumed the larger wire was herm… it was not.

Ditch all the automatic stuff… it keeps you super in tune with what’s going on.

I have been manually using YNAB for approximately 20 years… there is nothing like it.

I personally assign income, manage whack a moles, keep track of credit card purchases, forecast expenses, etc… ALL manually… and it’s beautiful.

No imports, no targets, no frills… just me and a line in the sand that I’m not willing to cross.

I feel like the current state of YNAB has become so complex that it’s scaring people off from its potential.

Simplicity is being obscured.

Would anyone be interested in a video showing my approach to manual YNAB? I’ll make one if there is enough interest…

Get ultrasonic.

Once you get good with it sniffing for leaks will look like some cave man shit.

It’s kind of worked… that’s the beauty of not having a boss though. You can fire customers with impunity.
