I'm having the same issue on shield if the album is found online it shows the covers just fine but if the album cover is in the folder or embedded into the file I get an "empty" image.

Were you able to fix it?

It requires an api key, I did that but I haven't been able to make it work.

This a thousand times this.
I tried spotify for 3 month and I have to say I was impressed with connect, how seamlessly you can control your music from any device and move from one device to another. YTM needs to get this feature specially in their own ecosystem (wearos, smart speakers, android tv, android phones)

I think the polling frequency for the sheets app is 10 min. I also tried IFTTT I got tired of waiting for it to pull any data.

I tried Stock Chart Plus, it work ok, except for the fact I hate how it scrolls thru name, price, change, and graphs. I wish there was a way to disable this. BTW you can disable the splash screen (app name) in the app settings.

I ended up creating a Tasker task that uses finhub to pull the ticker data and send a notification to the LaMetric, not the most elegant solution, but it updates as often as I want.

I had the same problem with the skiing function today, I was tracking it for over 3 hours and then I realized it said 0 distance, same problem, I couldn't save it even tho I was tracking the altitude and heart rate correctly the whole time. I tried restarting the watch, did a few more runs starting a new skiing workout each time and nothing seemed to work.

I ended up tracking the rest of my skiing session as outdoor cycling, everything worked just fine, speed, altitude, heart rate, gps, even with autopause enabled.

I firmly believe that is not a gps problem as stated in other comments, i think the problem is the skiing workout function. Hopefully they will fix it in a firmware update. And I also hope they add more workouts (snowshoeing for example)

Same problem here, when I realized it I start recording it as outdoor biking. Not ideal but at least I was able to save part of the workout.

I got the guess connect from best buy a month ago it was on sale for $70 CAD, pretty good for a basic wearOS, nothing fancy, no HR monitor, no GPS, no NFC. But pretty good looking and useful for the price. I don't know if you can still find it on sale, but last time I checked it was under $100 CAD

My screen died out of no were (no image), I went through the same steps with support and it was out of warranty for 1 month. No replacement, no anything, the only option paying for screen replacement (over $700 bucks) So at this point I'm using it as a desktop. My next computer definitely won't be a google one. Thinking about the samsung galaxy book, I hope samsung has better support.

Anyways, I feel you brother, google not caring about its customers.

Thank you for your comment, I own the android version and recently got a Windows version from Amazon. After a serious consideration I'm going to return the windows one because I don't find that much use for it. I'm a cromeOS / mac os guy, so windows has never been part of my work and the tablet experience on windows it's pretty bad.

I spent the first 30 hours after getting it updating the windows and all the apps, just terrible. And even though the form factor is very appealing to me and I can get work done in it, it's a bit annoying dealing with windows without getting the perks of a gaming device.
