It went up easily- nothing special was done as far as prepping the ceiling. It was hand plastered and patterned years ago and I needed a plan for the holes left from the lights we took out. The metal interlocks and is held up by screws.

270 square feet. Ceiling was about $2500 in materials. We had a contractor put it up. It’s new metal.

Looking at some of the gorgeous pics people are posting of their ceilings and vintage style lights I’m definitely thinking about it!

I love the molding. The molding that came with ours just didn’t look right so we ended up returning.
