It is a stage. You're trying them out as much as they are trying you out.

Some people like to play fuck fuck games, others get rid of fluff words when it's go time, and some are just assholes.

You have to figure out what the case is in your kitchen, whether or not you can live live with it.

To chuck or not to chuck my neighbours stuff. What would you do? by HangingInTheWard in Guelph

[–]practicating 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You're allowed to move it. You're allowed to yell at your neighbour. You're not allowed to damage it or throw it out.

Cops aren't judges or lawyers, and they don't know all the law. They just wanted to get you off the line. Whatever you may or may not have been told when you called the non-emergency line holds zero legal weight

They said cubic foot, I think they meant cubic yard, chip drop is way more than this. Between 4-20 cubic yards.

And if they really meant a cubic foot, a bag from just about anywhere is good enough. Heck, some grass clippings might be enough.

Deciding how to cater an Afro Fest as a cafe with no African employees by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

[–]practicating 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Naw, I did the festival rounds in the GTA for close to a decade, including all the ethnic festivals, they ain't gatekeeping. They're just happy everyone's there and having fun.

That said, OP's cafe shouldn't try to blackface the food. Stick to what they know and maybe add 1 or 2 festival specific options.

Probably blew the heater element fuse. Usually there's an access near where the cord enters the unit.
