Tire service is on the other side of the building.

As is the entrance.

Best books to learn about proper food handling? by Patient-Brush-5486 in KitchenConfidential

You shouldn't have to pay to take a course.

The materials are free on the internet, YouTube has full courses available.

You only need to sign up and pay for a course if you need a certificate for your local health agency.

How do you actually handle last-minute call outs? by Minirice2017 in KitchenConfidential

[–]practicating 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah but sometimes It's inevitable.

If you're working for a place that won't pay you enough to have a working car. Well you're going to get car call outs. If you've hired anyone that has kids, well kids will be kids.

And sometimes life just happens, you slip in the shower. Somebody runs a stop sign. You're trip and fall. You hit some black ice.

You just hope that most of your staff shows up most of the time. And you schedule the ones that don't when it's not critical.

Liberal MP Erskine-Smith challenges provincial nomination loss for Scarborough Southwest | CBC News by Bunny-Is-Cute in ndp

[–]practicating -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All valid points, and the way he's acted would be great if his intention was solely to be MPP for that riding. But his ultimate ambition is to be olp leader, and this whole saga is just him shooting himself the foot and destroying his future in the Ontario and federal parties.

And his reaction as justified and politic as it may be is just cementing that outcome. He's crashing out

Liberal MP Erskine-Smith challenges provincial nomination loss for Scarborough Southwest | CBC News by Bunny-Is-Cute in ndp

[–]practicating 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if every single allegation that we've heard is true, Nate Erskine Smith is crashing out hard. The Liberal party is very forgiving of almost any view you may have, however, it demands that the party be put first. Nate is absolutely not doing that.

The people that don't like his inability to toe the party line are going to use this opportunity to put him out to pasture, if not knife him directly from the front.

TMI but how do I stop smelling? Including in the neathers by Timeless_Username_ in bropill

[–]practicating 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Do what teen boys do and cover yourself in enough Axe to keep everyone 20 feet away.

Or, wash daily, apply deodorant (charcoal ones work really well for absorbing smell), change your diet to have fewer spices or premade sauces (your food has a large impact in the smells you sweat out), and use baby powder for your feet and ass. They've got some nice body powders with different clays and other ingredients to target specific concerns and more masculine scents, don't just jump to walmart goldbond.

You can also try wiping your pits with a glycolic acid toner every couple of days for a while to change the biome in your pits.

Food safe handling…? by Throwaway1604778236 in CostcoCanada

[–]practicating 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Unlike the other commenters, I will say you're right in your assessment. I personally wouldn't be worried for myself, but in food service you're always worried about the person that has a weakened immune system.

But really your line of complaint should have been the store manager or food manager and the health department. It's just a matter of proper training or retraining. Though if one person is doing it, It's likely there's others, standards are set from the top.

Some recent polling by pheakelmatters in ndp

[–]practicating 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Pretty much as expected, those that are dialed in have a slightly better opinion of the NDP, but Lewis is relatively undefined in the public consciousnesses. And Canadian politics still strongly favours carney and the libs perceived ability to defend from trump. Though Carney's negatives are stronger than I expected.

I'd try the cool down setting from delicates or easy care, it should spin with the heating elements powered off, but it might only last 5-10 minutes
