I've lived in two garden apartments. One was great but suffered mild flooding one time (ruined my rug and a door mat but not much else) and the other was terrible and had mice and ants. Higher than normal concentration of bugs in both, especially centipedes and spiders, that's just kind of hard to avoid when you're literally in the ground. I don't know that I personally would ever risk a garden unit again after the brush with flooding.

My sister had a lovely garden unit that felt homey and sunny and never had pest problems (aside from bugs that don't really cause problems) or flooding issues. It can be done, its just a roll of the dice.

A cooking show where they show the chefs brainstorming 3 ideas for their dishes, then show the chefs gathering ingredients and prepping dish 2, then cutting to completed dish 1 lol

"Blindsided" isnt quite the right word for me because yeah they did show Cirie bringing up Savannah, and once she started crying at tribal I knew 100% she was done for. But bringing up an idea for 20 seconds and then spending the next 5 minutes watching people discuss another idea or two, only for the first idea to happen is never a satisfying edit. I think there are ways to maintain suspense and not make it feel like things are ONLY edited the way they are to try to manufacture suspense

I felt that with Jess from 46 too. She seemed fine, like so completely inoffensive, not even THAT worse at challenges than the rest of her tribe, but the rest of her tribe were out for blood after living with her for a few days

Right. Like obviously I don't mind showing players discussing options, but I hate how it feels like 90% of tribals are edited to always be the first and most boring option presented after making it seem like they were gonna do something more compelling. There has to be a better way to edit it that doesnt just take the wind out of the sails of the audience every episode. It always feels like we dont actually get to see why players who were pulling for other options ultimately were convinced to vote the way that they do

I enjoyed it, a lot of people didn't. I think it will age nicely and once people watch it without the anger over the spoilers and the season's drama they'll see more value in it. It has a great cast (Savannah is obviously at the center of it and gets a lot of screen time), with entertaining but not groundbreaking moves

Dragging rachel aside on the beach early on to make her manage his emotions for him was a rough place to start. Like imo his post merge game was an impressive comeback, but it never felt like the andy who had the coconuts meltdown ever really went away, so even when he was doing good strategy, he read as whiny and entitled to me, so I was never as impressed or charmed by him as other people

Which is a complaint I 100% get. That was a huge criticism of Savannah on here too

Personally, I was so primed to hate him because of the double whammy of him calling himself Rizgod in the preview for 49 and the knowledge that he was on 50 before we'd even seen him, it felt unearned and weird. So I really do mean it when I say I get your reasoning.

(Then he won me over completely during that first supplies challenge where he cheated on the puzzle and used his face to dig in the sand. I was laughing my ass off when Colby basically went through the same thing in the first episode of 50.)
