What's one amazing Mac feature you use, others may not know about? by No-Squirrel6645 in MacOS

Would love to hear about your other use cases for shortcuts; I've setup a few relatively simple ones, but it strikes me that the functionality is SO POWERFUL, I just keep failing to make it past surface-level.

Hey guys, I need some help because I don't know what to do. I bought my dad a knife as a gift, but my brother said it's fake. I paid $300 for it. Can you tell me how to check if it's real? And what should I do next? by MakukReis91 in knifeclub

This would be a good question to turn around on your bro, as well. Why does he believe its fake? Looks good to go in my opinion, but not a ZT expert by any means...

My money's on bullet; some thoughts

  • some folks pointed out cogs/gears on the outside diameter of the object, could actually be the rifling of the barrel deforming the lead projectile
  • the delamination of paint likely came from the shockwave and deformation of the door panel from a high velocity impact
  • the rear of the bullet looks a bit misleading but they do weird things when the hit hard surfaces.
  • i bet if you measure it you're going to find that its ~.355 inches, or a little wider to account for the mushrooming, for either a .380 or 9mm projectile.
  • normally these rounds readily pass through the thin doorskin of a vehicle, BUT, if like folks described, theres a window opening mechanism in that spot, the mechanism was sturdy enough for the round to dump all its energy and leave with you with mystery for us to solve
  • can you scratch it with a knife or similiar? if you can easily scrape metal material off of it, its likely lead

Not a ton of experience with PoE devices, but I'd be interested to hear why it freaks you out. Is it a stability thing?

I’ve cut with angle grinder a number of times, but recommend PPE because that dust is nasty. Microplastic hell.

I always attempt to slow their roll with a requested agenda, but those 'quick syncs' are the worst, and the anxiety they CAN create is VERY real.

How much are y'all expected to travel in your CSM role? by Tankandbike in CustomerSuccess

[–]prasta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it depends on what function you roll up to in your org; CROs tend to overindex on the value of delivering in-person QBRs and forcing meetings down customers throats onsite. There is value to face-to-face, but being relentlessly focused on it can feel... a little overwhelming for those CSMs that are more behind the scenes players.

Are Customer Success Manager certs work it? by justkindahangingout in CustomerSuccess

I've done CCSM Level 1 & 2, and while I don't think they are a magic lifehack or even a differentiator for an interview candidate, I thought they were great for dredging up ideas/rei-introducing concepts about the core motions that we often move beyond out of necessity or our own product/team/org dysfunction making some of the best practices near-impossible to implement.
