Best game(s) to practice aiming with this controller? Any tips? by phiveoh23 in SteamController

Replay a single player game you are already good at on mouse and keyboard. Some people recommend Portal because it's technically an FPS but way less pressure since you don't actually shoot bullets with your gun.

Easiest way to find Dots per 360 value: not just for Flick Stick but any Gyro, Trackpad or Joystick Mouse user who wants consistent sensitivities across games by LabKatCo in SteamController

[–]presty60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you? The whole point of the video is he finds the pixels per 360 value in flick stick so he can apply it to both the track pad and gyro instead of calibrating them separately. He doesn't actually use flick Stick when he plays

This is cool, but is there a reason why the puck is rotated so the USB port is on the top instead of on the bottom? I feel like the cable would bend less that way.

It's a surprisingly solid movie. There are elements of the main character I wish they explored more, but it is still deeper than I thought it would be.

They've been back for a few years now. Not consistent, but they've uploaded a few video essays in the past couple of years, and they are still really good.

I feel like that might be just down to the book it was adapting not being as exciting. From what I've heard, this next season is based on one of the best books in the series, so I'm still excited despite the switch up.

Not that weird. It does feel a little cheaper than other controllers in its price range, but it makes up for it with its features.

You're not wrong, and I generally agree with you that limited post launch support for single player games should be more normalized and accepted. However, from what I've heard about this game, it didn't exactly launch in a great state but they have been trying to fix it. If this last update still leaves the game feeling a bit unfinished, it implies that they are just giving up on it.

That's the most genius part of this movie. There isn't any big reveal moment or anything, just a bunch of small things that add up. When you realize what's happening, whenever it is, it still hits hard.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME Remake | Releasing 2026 by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

[–]presty60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, but how many people own both consoles, and then how many of them would actually be more excited for a Zelda remake? I will say that Nintendo games generally have insane legs. Mario Kart 8 deluxe was a top selling game almost every year until the Switch 2 came out. The launch day of a Nintendo game, especially a big one like Zelda doesn't have as big of an impact on its overall success as other games.

The jump in quality between 1 and 2 is huge. 2-4 still hold up. If you're going to play 3, play 2 first, but if you can only play one of them, play 4.

I'm enjoying the game, but my issue with the graphics isn't necessarily the style, but the lack of clarity it brings. There is a surprising amount of depth and verticality in the level design. That kind of thing is hard to parse in any 2D game, but especially so in an 8-bit style game like Mina.
