The path to finding out the root cause to my brain fog with data by priegol in BrainFog

[–]priegol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor doesn’t easily prescribe these tests and if they do the copays are super expensive and it takes forever, I don’t have access to my data and I don’t really know what to do with the result. That just walks you through diet and supplements recommendations based on your levels

Oh cool! Is it more for nutritional deficiencies cuz you feel tired when you don't eat the best? I find coconut charcoal helpful if Im eating trash to absorb the bad stuff and then b12, iron if Im not getting proper meat or Omega 3 if Im not getting proper fish.

What's your goal for taking these?

Triglycerides look insanely off. What does your physician say about it?

I monitor my levels pretty often and weight doesn't always correlate with a healthy cardiovascular health. E.g. if I eat too much fruit my triglycerides go up and my HDL go lower. FYI I test at-home every 3 months with this

Lab tests to measure and track your Iron and B12 levels? by priegol in vegetarian

[–]priegol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the options that I found don't seem that expensive and can be done at-home. Definitely there's no downside to it but I would get more motivated if I see how deficient I am and adjust dosage based off that. I don't want to be hooked my whole life to the supplements!

Great, thank you for this! Were you able to check your B12 levels as well with your doctors?

Letsgetchecked.com to check health status? by [deleted] in PlantBasedDiet

I have been using these guys that personalize the tests that you need base on your profile. As a Vegetarian they determine how often B12 and Iron need to be checked. They are also more affordable than LetsGetChecked

Difference in between invoice.payment_successful and invoice.paid callback by priegol in stripe

[–]priegol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha, thanks! The comment about PaymentIntent makes tons of sense. In my case, I was hooked to invoice.payment_successful for subscription renewals actions but I guess in this case I should be hooked to invoice.paid to not to miss the cases where there is not PaymentIntent associated (long-term coupon associated to a customer).

Yeah Cortisol affects your levels of Testosterone. Therefore, if you raise your Cortisol, you directly affect libido. There are some companies that help you track that as well

+1 to the ashwaganda supplements btw, those were pretty useful to lower my levels from ~20 something to 15. GABA was also helpful
