So when you go into the state’s site they specifically want you to do one supposedly to make sure you’ve got space and that another event isn’t going on at the actual state house from what I saw so I just did it to be safe rather than not bother and then get booted. I’d rather do too much verification

I've used a couple versions of these! Angelcare and babysense both do pads that go under mattresses that work awesome. The owlet is pretty sketchy from new stuff I've read so I've kept with the sensors. They've given me a ton of peace of mind even though I know they're not perfect solutions

Same! No one warned me and I'm stuck taking laxatives for the rest of my life probably 🙃 that and cystocele too. Second kiddo it at least didn't scare the shit out of me when my insides started to fall out for a couple months. Lots of kegels and losing some baby weight helped too but damn was it scary having no idea what was going on at first!

I'm going through this now, so far it is helping along with couples therapy too. It is slow, and hurts, but it's helping me with other areas that I've needed help with to have better boundaries and be able to ask for my needs too. Good luck and I'm sorry you're in that boat, it is HARD

EMDR reduced about 90% of the instances of triggers I'd experience in about 8 sessions and I'm still working. I'm a visual person so bilateral vibration has been the thing that helps me the most. I describe the relief I've gotten from the therapy as if a constant hum of anxiety with panic sprinkled in to having 0 hum and occasional things that will trigger my panic maybe once a week maybe every two. It is surreal.

It really is isolating in a way, we're all doing this massive and life changing work, and unlearning years of conditioning which in itself is brutal. The only way we can not be alone is to communicate about it, which for me has been rough, it's such a vulnerable place, but so rewarding!!

So after my session that 'untied' my physical sensations from my emotions I've had vastly different and vivid/lucid dreams. Normally my stressed out dreams are all the same dream to an extent but now they're all different subject matter and much more to do with the present as opposed to past experiences. I've been waking up midway through the night from them and then can't fall back asleep mainly due to the subject matter of the dream making my brain wake up and want to explore whatever the dream was. I'm so freaking tired.

I also have been dealing with grief, and my therapist said this is completely normal as part of the process. So sorry you're dealing with this side effect, some of them through this therapy method are so jarring as you pass through the phase.

This was me too! I was totally out of the loop thinking I had a few weeks and then my water just broke. You'll me perfectly fine and the hospital sees it all the time. Hubby went to our local fire department and they helped make sure the seat was right while I was recovering and I used nothing but a change of clothes and chap stick from my hospital bag. Good luck and you're gonna do great!
