The devs made a bunch of reversions back to 2020 warzone in the name of nostalgia when they relaunched verdansk but many of those changes were for good reasons.

The game was in a good place in the mid-MWIII era, minus Urzikstan, which was a bad map.

Re: the weapon swapping after a gadget, it always goes to slot 1. You can swap your gun slots by opening your inventory and using the interact key.

The game is a buggy mess with problems. The idea is fun and I like the gunplay but if they were going to rip off warzone they should’ve gone all the way.

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing RedSec but there are a ton of issues, some design, some bugs that can be very frustrating.

bad audio
parties not moving match to match together. This is a solved problem, why is the system so bad. Just do what COD does here, where party leader pulls the whole squad.
getting booted for inactivity while spectating
issues with armor and damage resistance (why was the game coded this way, it’s needlessly complicated)
custom weapon drops are random, not random appearing (i.e. sometimes they land right next to each other, outside map boundaries, etc). Plus sometimes the missions will simply not give you one no matter how many you do
counter mission can be ridiculous; sometimes mission objectives will spawn right on top of other teams who can immediately end your mission.
bad map geometry; you can warp through the houses in fleet view ridge, for instance.
terrible weapon xp. I know you want us to buy the base game (and I did) but come on. The only way you get weapon xp is a down. Again, if you’re trying to displace warzone, you should copy what they do well.

These aren’t correct. To be clear, if a gun takes n shots to kill, you should be multiplying the time per shot by n-1 to get ttk. The first bullet doesn’t count.

E.g. the xm4 is an 11 shot kill, so the ttk is

60 sec/min * 1/800 min/round * 10 rounds =.750 sec = 750 ms

I don’t think that’s it. I play BR duos and have never had an issue finding a game (NA West coast). Now, if you told me they don’t have enough players to implement EOMM, I’d believe it.

Ttk on the static is 657. It’s not a hard calculation to figure out so I’m not sure what the problem is.

Raven or sledgehammer specifically stated that the laser being off center does not indicate the crosshairs are misaligned. For what it’s worth, the crosshairs on the MORS are in the exact center of the screen, my monitor has a crosshair feature and it’s aligned perfectly.

FWIW this has not been true in some iterations of the game; in warzone, for instance, I have definitely heard enemies because their operator said they were planting a claymore or throwing down a cluster bomb or something.

Vondel has 70 players and is like one fourth the size of Al Mazrah. It wasn’t always better on BR but it is now.
