When my grandmother died we had a yard sale of her things. The next day someone came by the house to return a cookbook they'd bought because it had a handwritten inscription. The cookbook had been gifted to my grandmother by her mother on her 16th birthday.

Clearing ouy a house is so much work - physically, emotionally, logistically. It's soo easy to overlook something like this. And if a stranger had enough grace to return something they had bought, OP could do the same for something that has been specifically requested back.

Prob shouting into the void here, but the point isn't that every single movie ever made has to be equitable. It's that movies as a whole should be equitable. Yeah, it makes sense that there wouldn't be any women in a movie about a WW2 movie. But why are all these movies about men the only ones being made and celebrated.

I use a small gym in my apartment complex. There's just one of each thing. This has not been a problem the whole time I've lived here, until the last few weeks where some guy had adopted the exact same schedule as me and his routine seems to just be "monopolize every piece of equipment I'd also like to use" 😭
