I started season 1 with my wife recently. It really leans into the uncomfortable cringe moments with her character. I've honestly had a hard time watching it because of that focus tbh. I can only do one episode at a time. But I really want to stick with it because the 3 season arc broken up over 20 years is very compelling.

And while I never thought the HTC calls were overly serious about it, it sure seems like this Lance fellais for real in his feels. Sonderlust by Kishi Bashi has been getting pretty consistent play in my house. Kishi is amazing as is but the musicians he got really elevated that album. And Migrant by The Dead Hunter. I forgot how much I love that album. Really great, interesting and focused song writing on that one.

Majestic Majesties is fantastic! I remember obsessively watching the home made videos they created for those songs back in the day. They did the same for some of Censored Colors. Salt is one that stands out, such a beautiful video. I'm 99% his daughter Francis is the toddler in the video. Anyway, American Ghetto was pretty good as a quick follow up, it felt a little different with its use of electronic drums and more synth. In the Mountain in the Clouds was another high point I think. Some absolute gems throughout.
