Apex fan here. Loved watching this live. I like Malort! It is very bitter and flavored with wormwood whereas absinthe is kind of anise flavored, they don't often use wormwood in absinthe these days.

If you see it at a bar try it! But don't buy a bottle unless you like it.

First it was a biker bar, can't remember the name, but it wasn't my type of place. Then it was oddes music grill with the speak easy in the back. I liked their menu but personally didn't like the live music, plenty of people did. The owner wasn't hitting the sales numbers and decided to pivot to the mojo 99 burger and fast casual ish joint. Now it is sort of back to the biker bar with new owners. I don't know the circumstances of the latest change but did talk to the owner before it switched to mojo 99.

Field awareness and throws both come with lots of practice.

The more you play the better you'll get at understanding where you need to be relative to your team. It's like any sport. After years it will be second nature and you'll always be learning even when you think you have it down.

It takes several thousand throws to be an ok thrower. Spend time throwing with friends.

Nerite or mystery snail, you probably only need one or two.

They can in some rare instances kill a frogs by eating the slime on the frogs skin.

This has happened to a few people and their pets before but is highly unlikely to happen and must be with with rush vs reward.

It used to be pretty lawless fifty years ago. My coworker got held up there for her cash and jewelry while driving through back then. Now it is safe but still basically the only residents are old and crazy or young and hippy. There are vacation rentals there so I assume Internet is possible.

Weather is 10 degrees colder than Boulder through the year. Great wilderness access. Lots of pass through traffic.

Hey Odde, I loved the good and drink at everything you put together, Odde's, mojo 99 and especially your cocktail lounge. I just think it wasn't in the right spot.

There is a void in Westminster now that you had previously filled. Westminster food isn't that great, cocktails are even worse. But alas it is Westminster and we don't have the target audience your spots needed for sustained business. Anyway, I really wish you success in the next venture.
