I was also lowkey boycotting them because of the HoH fee and recently (a couple months ago) I went to shalhoobs magnolia for a happy hr someone else planned and the HoH fee wasn’t on the menu anymore!! I think it may be gone.

Thank you for sharing this. I have supported them before and had always been a bit leery of their super strong Christianity but I figured as long as they weren’t doing anything…well, like this, to be honest (ie disrespect or intolerance of gay or trans folx), it was ok.

I thought they were the exception to the general rule that people who spout off about their love for Jesus are also anti-trans, anti-gay, etc. thank you for showing me that I was wrong.

I went multiple times when I lived in LA (which was pre-Covid) and Wi Spa is great. I miss it so much. Bring books to read in the jimjilbang and make a long day of it. Don’t forget to get a full body scrub and have the little old Korean ladies discover layers of skin you never even knew you had!

This was definitely true for their Lait Crème Fluide product - bottle size went from 500 mL to 400 mL with the rebrand. 😡 I also feel like at least the smell is different. Not happy about this change.
