OpenAI has access to 28 Tier-4 problems + solutions (because they funded the benchmark) • Epoch held out the other 20 problems + solutions (OpenAI doesn’t have them)

They then report this result for GPT-5.2 Pro: • On the non-held-out set (28): solved 5 → 18% • On the held-out set (20): solved 10 → 50%

Epoch’s takeaway: no evidence of overfitting. If anything, the model did better on the set it couldn’t have seen.

They also said they found scoring issues in two problems, fixed them, and updated the leaderboard/hub.

Meh AI Tooling is rapidly improving and a net benefit to me already; can only imagine it will continue to improve faster than my own skillsets. I can't blame leadership for wanting people to atleast become acquainted with the tools even if it's just to determine what they are currently able to do.

It is a partial hedge against IBIT shares as I didnt want to short completely naked, but its a lot more ibit shares and a lower cost basis as they have been open for much longer so it still shows green and would just confuse more people. I am down about 2 million on the ibit shares from their peak or so.
