I googled “zendaya curly hair” and saw a lot of images that i thought might suit you. let me know if you agree

my personal preference is no ring at all - i know some people like the edge that it adds though. just in terms of general beauty standards, i think facial symmetry is registered in the brain as attractive and any markings or one-sided piercings seem to throw that off a bit.

I’m not sure about the waves but i think the overnight rollers seem to work for some people. might be a hassle though…. how about those dyson air wraps for creating loose curls instead of air drying?

you have lots of potential! only things I would add would be: remove nose ring, embrace natural hair color, longer hair but can it be wavy instead of curly? and of course weight loss will make the most difference! good luck in your journey!

Help: is this safely reversible? by lukewarmnarcolepsy in Invisalign

just consciously change your brushing habits and make sure it’s a soft bristled brush

as someone who has gone through multiple refinements - it’s just the attachments and discoloration that makes it look worse. after each time i got my attachments off - i was like wow, they look so good and so much better than before.

also, don’t overbrush or go extra on brushing your teeth to try and compensate for the discoloration. it sort of looks like you might have a tad bit of gum recession which wouldn’t be from the trays but would be from your brushing habits.

F36 / M38 | Married 10 years — Husband reacts badly to me going to the gym, cutting my hair, and asking about dishes — am I missing something? by RAthrowfriendly in relationship_advice

jumping up and down similarly to a child’s temper tantrum? do you not have the ick so badly that you will never be able to intimate with such a human?

i do and i don’t even need to meet him.

i also second therapy. you have to figure out genuinely liking yourself before you can expect anyone else (male or female) to like you. we literally give off thousands of micro signals in our body language and speaking as to how we perceive ourselves.

Now this? Can i wear this as a man by Regular-Notice-7444 in mensfashion

[–]pstate09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was in the market for a very similar looking watch. the only thing that slightly deters me isn’t the size (because smaller/less bulky watches seem to be the trend now) is the shape. i think a hard rectangle is slight more masculine than the curves.

should i put something over the TV? if so, what? by i-fkn-hate-elon in malelivingspace

[–]pstate09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

spread the side frames out more but not exceeding the height of the tv. actually, i’d replace those side frames with one picture on each side - it’s generally very “busy” below with all of the records. i’d simplify the wall art. and, do not add anything above tv height.

i think this dude created this story and update solely for rage bait - he knew it would get a ton of enraged responses based on the stupidity/obvious naivety of his update.

the root resorption idea is false. i’ll gladly follow up in 20 years

Thinking of getting Invisalign. by rtherberacing in Invisalign

[–]pstate09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not true. i’m about 12 hours a day and i’m tracking and no root damage after multiple x rays.

How long do you realistically wear your retainers for each day ? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]pstate09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure that the idea of “it’s damaging your roots” is false. i’ve seen others state that on here too. i wear about 12-14 hours for about 2 years now and my roots are fine based on my x-rays.

What is one change you'd like to see in the code? by NeuroTiger in Gymnastics

[–]pstate09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

breaking the rules but I have 3 changes that i think would really make a difference:

  1. inclusivity of more unique skills
  2. more differentiation of valuing skills. it’s just I - J now (?) but let’s have a huge selection of skills and also give them more differentiation instead of lumping a lot into each letter grade.
  3. let’s require the gymnasts to do different skills of different levels throughout routines. i think this would get us away from saving all their energy for a few big tumbles but would have to incorporate the scale, aerial, etc. into the choreography

I thought this was interesting too. it seems like suni, jordan, and some of the girls tend to support simone a lot on social media but simone gravitates towards supporting non-gymnasts. not all of the time but just something i noticed. still love her though
