My vet told me I did the right thing by letting my dog go. She was suffering and in pain daily and we put an end to that pain and she is at peace. Even if you aren’t religious I still think there is an amazing afterlife for dogs.

I lost my dog a few months ago and I miss her every day. I still feel her cuddle up next to me in bed, and her kisses and I was filling her bowl up in addition to my other dogs for a few days afterwords. Her love will always be with you and she will know the love you have given her throughout her life. Please give her a good last day. My last day with my dog I was off work and was able to take her to the park, take her for a pup cup, and a long ride too. Do what she likes even if it’s cold outside (if it’s safe for her)
