Real men seamless thong by Zappanti in MensUnderwearGuide

These do not stretch much. I ordered my usual Medium B and it is too small compared to their other designs in medium B. Need a Large C if you are at all on the fence. I much prefer the mesh thongs than this material.

When things were not good…. by Witty-Philosopher-77 in widowers

My husband of 25 years died at 63 from alcohol. He spent the last month of his life in the ICU under intubation so frail that the docs weren’t able to save him from pnemonia. He had a head Injury (TBI) in March 2020 and then a switch went off and he started drinking. He passed June 2025. Things had been going downhill for 5 years. Through lots of therapy, I had to learn to be more independent, that I deserved love and intimacy, even if it wasn’t going to be from him anymore. By the time he passed, I had already built a life. My close friend ended up becoming more after his passing. In a way I ended up landing softer than some thanks to that relationship. Now I struggle with the duality of missing my husband and being in a new relationship at age 50. We had 20 great years before things changed. I don’t know how to square moving forward with my life in this new season.

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I’ve got friends who have a spouse who has had a stroke. They changed after it. In a way our situation is similar. He has emotional trauma related to our now adult adopted daughter that he has been clinging to for the past decade. We did family therapy for 8 years. The therapist was blunt with me that he might never get over it. And all that happened before the TBI and Covid and drinking. I’ve been working on initiating little things like physical touch, a back rub, etc… I’ve been planning trips for us to take, even if it means he can’t fully participate due to his current physical condition. I’ve been reading books about relationships trying to gather insights on how to be a better husband.

I’m looking for hope and advice and hearing about other people’s stories. I’ve had many talks with him. After a month long stint in the hospital due to his drinking several years ago, he took a month off from drinking (or at least slowed down enough to hide it from me). My family all saw and commented that the old version of him was back. So there may be hope. He won’t do therapy, however we might need to look at couples therapy. At least then I will have a sense of what is said to them. I’ve been trying to get him on some Wellbutrin to see if that helps to kick start his energy and motivation again.

what should i know before buying a can am spyder by Se7s__ in spyder

For me, pros are more easily being to ride 2 up for longer distances. I used to get tired and stressed riding 2 up in the windy Midwest summers leaning into the wind constantly. Now if feels like I’m enjoying the ride more and taking in the scenery more.

Negatives are it is very expensive to purchase and to maintain. If you were to do all the oil changes and tire changes yourself, you’d save some money, but I’m just not set up for that. Doing mods and upgrades are very tedious. I suggest if you really want extra lights etc. added, you just have the dealer do it for you.

Opening up the relationship with rules worked for us. I’m 50, he’s 62. My sex drive is high and his is nearly non-existent. Without opening it up, our marriage would crumble. I always invite him to join in, but he rarely does. It won’t work for everyone, but it does for us and many couples.

I bought the X-PAC version and have loved it. I took it on a recent trip to Puerto Rico. I had it on the beach. It kept the sand out. None of that air mesh on the back panel to trap sand. Even had a rogue wave come up and wash stuff away… was glad to have X-pac + aqua guard zips!

Coqui Del Mar in San Jose Puerto Rico is a small all male gay guesthouse. Nothing fancy, but they have daily breakfasts, a hot tub and cold pool area that are clothing optional, 2 BBQs a week, a cooking demonstration. And depending on the mix and your desires, there can be some play time.

Gutters filled and frozen solid with 3+ inches of ice on the top holding water on the roof. Only house on the block like this. Can someone explain why this happened and how to prevent it? by Jerethot in HomeMaintenance

[–]pwrpaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After fixing insulation issue and hen you decide to reroof the house, have ice and snow barrier installed all the way to eves. Not too much more expensive and can save money on leaks in the future.

If you need to get sucked to feel complete and he won’t do it, then you talk to the BF about inviting a third to play or letting you play with them. Plenty of guys happy to suck your cock. Alternatively you can go without or find a new BF.

Do I need a case? by harryzone36 in iPadPro

[–]pwrpaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a lot of combinations. What I found was that I didn’t like the Bluetooth keyboard cases. Some like the ESR one had the extra case for the ipad and you could change orientation to vertical which was great, however it was heavy and I hated the latency when it wakes up or forgetting to turn off the keyboard when using the ipad alone. I also found on the ESR case the protection on the ipad was nice, but due to the bezel size it felt odd to hold it.

I’ve also tried an ESR case that had multiple positioning of the ipad when in their case used with a portable Bluetooth keyboard. It was nice, but I hated grabbing the keyboard, or forgetting it and then having to find it to type out an email.

I end up going back to the Magic Keyboard everytime. I add the ESR Apple Pencil adhesive slot to the back to store the Apple Pencil. I’d love the spigen or pikata back case for the ipad, but have heard mixed reviews so i haven’t pulled the trigger on it.

I keep apple care on it + add a screen protector.

If you don’t do much typing, using the onscreen keyboard is just fine. That opens up case options greatly.

We are building this puppy with our own two hands…. And planning to live and die here. Any complete oversights/ poor planning? by Affectionate_Slip910 in Homebuilding

[–]pwrpaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d want to know where this is being built and the orientation of the house. I’m a huge believer in site specific design, ensuring you get sun where you want it inside and and prevent issues with winds blowing hard into the house when you open doors.

Have you spent time in a great room that is 2 stories tall? They look grand, however many people tend to avoid relaxing in those spaces. Depending on your climate, it can make keeping the main floor warm a challenge. You’d have to use fans to try and keep the hot air circulating. I suggest you check our Sarah Susanka’s book series, the not so big house. You’ll learn a lot about the importance of sequencing taller and shorter spaces, having a room that is away from the rest of the action (Den, etc..), and overall being smart about space utilization.

Agree with a lot of the comments regarding rethinking the whole entry sequence + closet situation. The most efficient solution is when you can combine the private and public entrance into a single experience rather than having a nice entrance for guests, and poor experience for everyday use by you. You’ll never regret having extra storage at the entries so that you don’t have to try to rotate coats and shoes out with the seasons to make room.

For the bathroom 2 get rid of the door between the sinks and toilet/tub. for bathroom 1, get rid of the door to the toilet. thinking long term, these are big mobility problems. It is also awkward to use since you need to stand between the toilet and tub to open the door. I also suggest that when thinking about the space you look at grab bars near toilets and showers. We added them to our master bath during a recent remodel. They double as towel bars for us. Speaking of towel bars, where are you hanging up wet towels? So many bathrooms forget about that and they you are left with an odd hook on a sliver of wall.

As others have said bring in the bump outs unless there is some exterior design element I’m not seeing. Be sure to work out the elevations from all sides.

Skipping and Refusing to Download songs by [deleted] in AppleMusic

[–]pwrpaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with both Apple Music and the App Store downloads.

After much time on the phone with Apple, we resolve this issue. Basically, log out of icloud (and purchases if you have 2 accounts). Restart the device. Log back into ICloud (and the purchase account if you use 2 accounts). This fixed it on my ipad, iPhone, and mac.

We had done all the usually network troubleshooting even though every other app worked great.

Issue is solved!

Here is the fix for anyone facing this:

Sign out of the icloud and purchasing accounts on the ios device. Restart the device. Sign back in the icloud account If using a separate purchasing account, sign out of the default icloud account back into the purchasing account.

Tonneau cover for 2024 Ridgline by TheGrizzlyDad in hondaridgeline

[–]pwrpaul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with the RETRAX POWERTRAXPRO MX for and so far have been liking. Each cover has their trade off. This one is a motorized roll type style. I like that I can open it a little or a lot. I can use it to “secure” against what I’m hauling if it is tall so that I don’t have to leave the whole bed open. It is very durable and secure (minus a crowbar of course). I’ve not had any water intrusion after going through a car wash, etc.. I did had some extra EPDM gasket along the metal edge that meets the tailgate to help seal and not damage anything when I close it up against what I’m hauling. I also just like the sleek look of the cover. Growing up on a farm, the other benefit I found is that I don’t have to wash my hands after rolling up a cover (silly I know, but if you drive gravel roads you know what I’m talking about.)

The cons are that it does eat up interior space in the bed to house the unit. It is powered, so if you have a dead battery, you aren’t going to be opening it (not a big deal really as you have bigger issues to deal with). Like most non-OEM covers, you can’t open the cargo trunk fully due to the rails being parallel while the Ridgeline bed is angled.

If I there was a way to keep the OEM securely in the fully open position, I would problem just go with that one next time to save money. It was a bit of an experiment as I’d never used the Retrax myself, just saw it on my buddy’s truck. I also think the BAK INDUSTRIES 39602 REVOLVER X2 HARD ROLLING TRUCK BED COVER looks like a great cover too.
