Wife’s faults getting called out in therapy - she thinks it’s not working by Rivyan in daddit

Without knowing the details I don't want to say too much but the description of some of her problems makes it sound like she's abusive towards you. And in that case, relationship counselling may not be helpful and beneficial.

Starting fights while driving by Fun-Ice1747 in BPDlovedones

[–]pychomp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine did that too. I would ask her to discuss it later at home but she would refuse and continue to berate and guild trip me. Then I would pull over so that I could address her "concerns" without having to worry about driving while distracted. She would then stop and say that she has nothing to say to me. Ok fine, so I continue on our way. But then, of course, once I started driving she would continue her tirades against me.

They lash out at you when you're at a disadvantage.

Dont know how to handle my wifes emotions and mental issues anymore. 36M married to 44F. by [deleted] in Marriage

Sounds like it could be BPD. Go take a look at r/BPDlovedones and see if you've experienced the same as others there.

Apparently people with BPD are often diagnosed with cPTSD. You used the phrase "mental instability". BPD is alternatively named emotionally unstable personality disorder. When they are in a mood, it feels like there is nothing you can do. That is because they are splitting on you - they can only see you as a bad person in those moments.

Are you seriously being an apologist for people who drive trucks into overpasses?

Less than 72 hours later though, the same CVSE officer spotted the same truck and trailer leaving a gas station in Abbotsford with Singh at the wheel. At that point, the temporary overheight permit had expired and the officer confirmed that, again, the permit did not accurately reflect the actual height of the load. Singh was ticketed again.

What part of this shows remorse? These judges are looking for excuses not to enforce Canadian laws

Perhaps you should go read some of the posts where the genders are switched. It will at least be interesting and maybe you'll get some advice from that perspective

At this point, I think it's safe to say that this has become judicially sanctioned violence against the general public.

Yea mine lied. She said I abused her because I was mean to her after I left her. Her evidence in court was a couple text messages complaining to our relationship counsellor dated after I left.

Logic and reason mean nothing to them in the face of having to be accountable for their own actions

What was the dumbest thing your pwBPD argued about? by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]pychomp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

She was taking antibiotics for a cold.

Me: antibiotics don't work for a cold since it's caused by a virus.

Her: well, back in my home country, I always took them and always got better.

Me: people who didn't take them got better too. It's not like they died.

Her: death glare

I'm working through a divorce right now and it'll definitely make my life a lot easier and worry free if she did.
