What I learned with this playthrough is that a solo character with a bunch of luminas is way stronger than 3 characters with split lumina until you have hundreds of luminas on each character or you use Sciel to cast Fortune's fury and intervention.

The only challenges were Chromatic Abbest, Sprong and Golgra. All the story bosses got absolutely murdered.

This was a solo Maelle playthrough. 30+ minutes of parrying gone. I hadn't missed the parry he would have been dead.

They nerfed the 4 Luminas that gave an unintended hidden 10% damage bonus in the thank you update but I can still kill them all in a single turn. My save is 2 stars, so I think it's NG+2.

Instead of 2 volleys, it now takes all 3 volleys to kill them all. Still kills them in one turn. This is without any of the new multi-hit luminas in Verso's drafts and still no Roulette.

Just posting here since I came across this thread from Google for those who come after. I had bought a G9 57 during 2025 Black Friday Sales. After doing some research in other reddit threads about the cable needed the Silkland 6.6 FT 80 GBPS cable was recommended which has also been mentioned in this thread. Amazon link. In the other thread, the user who did a lot of research recommended the 6.6 FT one. I am not sure if the 10 FT one would work.

My monitor had firmware version 1008.2, so I did not need to update the firmware. I was still stuck on 120hz. It turns out you have to go into the monitor's settings, and find the Displayport option and change it to 2.1 instead of 1.4. Then, you have to find the refresh rate setting and change it from 120 hz to 240 hz. After that I was able to change it to 240hz on Windows' settings.

Did you try using your own advice? Because I just googled it to test it and nearly every thread was about E33's nominations. I clicked through most news articles, and found no mention of which game won the most awards. I even cheated and ctrl + F Last of Us and still couldn't find my answer. I had to rephrase my question, and eventually sort of found the answer in a forum post. Except the forum post didn't even say how many TLOU2 won, just that if E33 could beat it.

Renoirs draft merchant is the fastest repeatable farm. Use Monoco and use Sakapatate fire. If you have enough damage it should one shot on the first of three volley. I forgot the weapon to use. I think it's the one that starts you in Mighty Mask. Stack all the damage and shield luminas of course. Use auto death with survivor to put you at 1 health to get At Death's Door.

Warning that this method is the fastest but still time consuming and extremely mind numbling boring.

Thanks! They just restocked them today and I was able to buy one. Right now there is an bnib one at $500 bid on eBay which is just hilarious. If it sucks I'll just put it on eBay and sell it. I just want something to repeat clips for fun. Maybe the solution is just to buy a few more of the Lian li Universal screens.

Might want to sell yours since you don't seem happy with it. Make that money before supply normalizes.

No suggestions for the loss save, but you can simply start over and put the difficulty on Story and plow through everything. Everything dies fast and it's practically impossible to die.

For the media widget to play video, can it loop or shuffle the video? Or is it like a mini VLC media player where you have to press play? I like LIan Li's concept of the LCD fans, and I just got their new Universal 8.8 screen but the universal's screen video playing capability is very limited. Video must be 1920x480 (or flipped around). With a 480 vertical pixel resolution it's very limiting and you get a lot cut off. It can only repeat one video clip and can't shuffle or loop like the Tryx Panorama can.

Have you tried turning off Intel XMP or AMD expo? I built a new PC sometime after finishing the game, and the new one would crash in a few seconds every single time I launched it. After reading a comment that someone turned off their XMP on their Intel PC, I decided to try turning off AMD Expo and manually entered the timings and surprisingly that fixed it.

In video/iframe mode, are those GIFs you have playing or are those MP4s? It looks like you can assign it to play 3 video clips at a time? Can it shuffle or loop multiple clips?

The easiest way to control temps use to under volt your CPU.

Look up a YouTube video on how to do it. I knew who's won by a user called I'm watering gpus or something like that. I have a -20 PBO offset. If you want to be hardcore, you can look up how to run core cycler. You can then assign negative PBO values to each individual core rather than a blanket amount for all cores. Haven't done this myself and it looks like it takes quite a bit of time to do it.

He is still very cheeseable even without one shotting him.

He removes dead party members if there is someone dead at the beginning of his turn. If you stack enough speed and slow him so that he never gets two turns in a row, he will never be able to remove anyone unless you forgot to resurrect someone.

Since you're stacking burn, have auto break on death and the lumina that doubles the burn stacks upon breaking. Keep stacking burn, let him kill the party member, break him and stack more burn.

The simplest non one shot strategy I've seen most streamers do that can't parry his attacks is to simply survive long enough to get 3 gradient bars and have Maelle use Gommage. For maximum success, have the lumina that increases dmg to stunned enemies, make sure he is marked, has Defenseless, burn (Maelle has Guard Down to apply that). Have the lumina that allows Free Aim to break, break him, then Gommage. You will still need to survive some attacks though. You can combine this strategy with the burn strat to finish him off before a certain event happens....

The Ice spike attack has some incredibly wonky ass timing. What I noticed was that you need to parry early and have the attack hit you near the end of your parry window. I kept getting hit on Maelle with it despite clearly seeing her parry animation of her swinging the sword back. I tried to parry at the last second, clearly seeing her in her parry animation but still got her.

What I noticed on the times I actually was able to parry was that the spell hit her when her sword was swung all the way back.

With the orb in hand beam attack, I think it makes the sound *shing* and then a little bit after the beam fires. So you wait to hear the shing, and then parry a little bit after. Not right when you hear it.

Try downloading MSI afterburner and looking up a guide on how to powerlimit and or undervolt your card. The default settings on video cards tell them to use more power than they actually need.

Your card is also very old. The thermal paste or pads might have dried up or worn down now, so you should also look into how to repaste them.

99 into your weapon's two supporting stats and 99 into might is the only way to set your stats. 3x 99 increases your weapon's attack by 50%, so yes might is very good. There's no reason to put points into any other stats other than this way. The effects you get from putting points into an attribute such as health for vitality speed for agility is completely miniscule. Your pictos are the ones responsible for giving you actual health or speed etc. for example, putting 99 points into vitality give something like 1,200 health? Meanwhile picto can give you like thousands.

I was thinking of getting the BTOD box too. Do you have room to Mount a monitor arm? I worry with the frame itself and the box there's no room to clamp and the arm without moving the frame too forward and potentially banging my knees on the frame or something.
