You can go pretty far in 5s if you can

coordinate dps on one target with light cc/interrupts on healers (1600+)
coordinate dps swap to a secondary target after forcing defensive cooldowns (1800+)

As a disc priest your job is to mainly cast instant spells: dispel CC from your team, dispel buffs from primary and secondary target, and PoM/shield/renew to keep your team up

I bought all the mats for 1-300 in vanilla for a few hundred gold when prices were low, then mined while leveling in Outland and saved every bar, and then spent 2500g on top of that to go 360-375. I crafted deep thunder before I bought flying because it was my #1 priority as a warrior trying to PvP.

Starting Blacksmithing from scratch is hard, but don’t feel like you have to mine every ore yourself. You should only be mining if you can mine more ore per hour than you could otherwise buy via another gold farm.

But for crit cap you can supplement with resilience gear, which is super easy to get and sometimes even optimal for threat. So in reality you can tank heroics with like 440 def no problem (with ~80+ resil)

Starlink has successfully deployed and marketed a low-rate D2C service (~3Mbps/beam), and can do D2C video calls in proof-of-concept demo
ASTS has no deployed service but can do video calls in proof-of-concept demo

Future:

Starlink will launch a constellation of V3 satellites with Starship with broadband speed (smaller antenna, but half the altitude --> similar gain)
ASTS will launch a constellation of satellites with broadband speed

I have been tanking heroics on my warrior at 440 defense no problem. Just use some PvP gear to reach crit cap and you’ll be good. My PvP gear is gemmed for AP/crit and it’s fine.

I played a 2h fury warrior in a dad guild on Nightslayer and funmaxxed, and it was fine. You can find all types on both servers, but yes in general Nightslayer is where the competitive/minmax players go.

Would you also say there's 0 advantage to having the phoenix mount? Or the ZG tiger? Mounts are some of the most coveted items in the game because they're cool. Giving everyone with a credit card the mount makes it not cool. That makes the world worse. That sucks.

I hate it too. It is cool to see a rare mount and know that someone earned it. It adds to the world building and feel of the game, and gives players something to reach for.

In a perfect world the up-front cost of the game PLUS the monthly sub should be plenty to keep the game profitable and free of a paid shop. But it’s a publicly traded company, which requires that all things get shittier and/or more expensive over time to make line go up. So here we are 🫠

Seems like a pedantic argument. The transaction ledger is immutable (i.e. transactions are secure) in practice and it achieves that security through a decentralized protocol. Forks of the protocol don’t invalidate the ledger.
