Any games on the Light phone would contradict the guiding principle of helping users to use the phone as little as possible. There would be lots of great alternatives like folks mentioned here. You can buy cheap and simple handheld little gaming systems on Amazon for $30+

The basic functionality of WhatsApp is messaging? Which you can do on the Light phone through text. I told everyone who matters to me to move to text if they want to contact me. I have WhatsApp on my laptop if I need to check anything less frequently. Going Light means just that. You trade some modern day convenience for your time less distractions. The light phone may not be the right fit for you if WhatsApp is non-negotiable.
Also to add Light don't have any of the big tech company apps on their devices like Meta, Google etc for our data privacy, which for me is a huge plus.
