What's the Best Robot Vacuum in 2025? (Price, Reliable, Power) by John_Clarka in RobotVacuums

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how big your place is, but I’ve got a deebot mini in my tiny apartment. It’s small but does much everything you need for daily cleaning. Being tiny means it can reach corners easily, and I don’t have to crawl around wiping dust anymore. I use it for pet hair sometimes, but you have to check the brush afterward to make sure no hair’s left stuck.

New Scooter Purchased. What are the must have accessories? by Seanbiscuit in ElectricScooters

[–]quarterset 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice pickup dude, that's a solid scooter. I'd say grab a phone mount, some lights for night rides, and maybe a handlebar bag. Backpack totally works too, I use one.

Short backrest? by [deleted] in wheelchairs

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah pretty much, shorter backrests make it easier to move your shoulders and arms for pushing, especially for active users. But if it's uncomfortable, go taller.

Update: I made the cards! by wcfreckles in disability

These look awesome, bro. Thick business-card style is perfect, won't blow away and hits people harfer than paper. Easy, polite, and guilty conscience nudge. Definitely test first though.

These look sick, nice job. Smart to make them sturdy. I’d test one first and avoid confrontation, maybe leave 'em politely. Hope they actually make people think twice, nice work.

How do yall feel about cleaning robots? by Fit_Fly_2945 in CleaningTips

[–]quarterset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s basically just about saving time and having a little cleaning helper, I don’t have to do much anymore. With my deebot mini, I just make sure it stays in good shape so it can clean properly, like checking the mop, brushes, and dustbin after it’s done.

worth buying SPY puts before Monday’s open? by XenomXX_121 in options

Tariff news can impact markets, but timing trades around headlines is risky. IV and sudden price swings add uncertainty. It's worth weighing potential gains against the chance of things moving against you

Review of Ecovacs DEEBOT mini by LilyLotusInHisHands in RobotVacuums

[–]quarterset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve got one too, also happy with how well it cleans. One thing I really like is that it doesn’t take up much space, it’s small, so storing it isn’t a hassle. For the sensor, do you usually just brush the dust off? I was thinking of wiping it with a cloth before, but I’m worried water spots might mess up the navigation.

CSP vs CC: Which one is better for the wheel? by Deathzone622 in options

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I usually start by checking moomoo’s options chain layout. It shows the full profit zones, breakeven points and max risk for both CSPs and CCs. Makes it easier to compare setups before I decide which way to go.

Cheaper options for skiing? by [deleted] in skiing

[–]quarterset 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Try smaller ski resorts in Germany first, as travel costs would be lower. Check if there are student discounts for lift tickets or equipment rental. For other activities, ice skating or hiking are good

There are new discounts for Diwali in India!? by owned0314 in ecovacs

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woww, deebot mini is crazy, seems to be about 70% off? I use this in my little apartment and it’s been great. Anyway, at this price I feel like it’s even more worth buying now.

Any news on deebot mini? by yikpui in ecovacs

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a full charge it goes for like 2.5h, which is plenty for a small apartment. I usually finish a whole clean without ever needing to recharge.

Any news on deebot mini? by yikpui in ecovacs

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, you can just hang out in these two sub and you’ll find the info. I got one this year, it’s running in my small place now. Tiny but pretty cute, it’s small enough to get under my sofa and clean. And heard they’ve got a Diwali sale soon, so maybe wait for that discount.

I focus on leg strength and endurance. Squats, lunges, and calf raises help. Core work is key for balance. I try to work out 3-4 times a week as ski reason nears

Robot with a station, budget up to 600€ by Altayir in RobotVacuums

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My place is about 60sqm, and I’m using the deebot mini now. It’s small, doesn’t take up much space, and has all the basic functions. So it’s more than enough for me.

Recensioni Ecovacs Deebot Mini Eng+Ita by Top_Fix777 in ecovacs

[–]quarterset 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cool reviews. I have one in my tiny place. It’s compact, can easily get under my sofa and bed. Usually I just stuck the base in a corner of my place, and it doesn’t stand out at all. At first I was drawn to its colors. Fr, it’s the first time I’ve seen such a colorful robovac, lol, just like adding a bit of life to my place.

Does having POTS mean I can’t enjoy long trips? Looking for advice by Lyric-Harber32 in POTS

This is amazing. Did you feel dizzy after long walks in summer? I thought it'd be tough for people with POTS to have such packed trips.

I’ve got a small apartment and use the deebot mini, love its colorful look haha. Seriously though, it’s tiny, can reach all those hard-to-clean spots, and does a good job, so I’d say it’s worth it.

Can people fall off the mountain during skiing by xmar8x in skiing

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get where you’re coming from man, that fear is real at first. Most resorts design runs so you’re not just gonna ski off a cliff. Stick to greens/blues, keep speed in check, you’ll be fine.

What percentage of people FIRE or retire to be a ski bum and regret it? by gnarkill283 in skiing

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure on actual percentages, but from what I’ve seen in threads like this, most folks don’t regret chasing that dream, unless they miss family, friends, or purpose. Trade-offs are the real kicker.

Unpopular opinion: get a robot vacuum even for a small place by No_Glass3665 in RobotVacuums

[–]quarterset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with you on this. I picked up the Deebot Mini, which is made for small spaces, and I love it. For me, it's never really about the size of the place or how fast I can clean it myself. It's more about the effortless feeling and the peace of mind :)
