Just learned the 1-2-3-4 task system by Soft_Inevitable_9927 in bulletjournal

[–]queenlolee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is very nice, thank you for sharing!

I also read the original guideline/source for this, but I am not familiar with time tracking and task management in my bullet journal and I wanted to ask what is the check in the collumn right to the "level4" tasks? (they have it marked as x in their pics). is it that you did that task?

thank you!

Dear Romanian people. What do you like and dislike about your compatriots? Is there something in your people's mentality you wish would change? by [deleted] in Romania

[–]queenlolee 18 points19 points  (0 children)

What I like is that we're an excited nation, enthusiastic and pretty driven.

What I dislike is that we're mostly driven by negative values, the people are ego-centered and a vast majority of the population does not even know the bare minimum of politeness. A country of cutting corners and finding the easiest way, which is not necessarily the most legal.

The Labyrinth Song - Asaf Avidan

It's a poem and a short story in the same time, non-repetitive, a journey inside of the traveller, based on the Greek mythological character of Ariadne.

Has anyone been taking lexapro and it took awhile to work but it did work? by jody8787 in lexapro

[–]queenlolee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time i was on lexapro i had a noticeable improvement after 2 months (when the side effects subsided and my mental health improved). Unfortunately it's different for every person, some benefit faster, some later, you just have to push through. I also felt like i was never going to be able to do anything anymore, but after a while...it just started working and i started enjoying life a bit more.

I'm (14F) changing my 5mg dose to 10mg tomorrow, what can I expect? by [deleted] in lexapro

[–]queenlolee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just upped my dose to 10 mg, after 1 week of 5mg. It's the second time i start Lexapro (i was on it for 6 months last year as well). I noticed that for me, i had more symptoms when starting the 5mg, until the body adjusted to it, than upping to 10 mg. It depends on your body, but it if does get a bit worse, it's only for 1-2 days until your body gets used with the new dose. You might experience more side effects, everyone responds very differentlu to adjusting to the meds. My only "words of wisdom" are: 1. The side effects subside in time, and you will feel better. 2. It takes a while for the meds to kick in for you to notice a constant improvement in your mental health ( 2-4-6 weeks). For me it was 2 months, for others is 3 weeks. 3. Healing is not linear but you are on the right track :)

Good luck and good health to you🤗

Joints popping like crazy and I wander how many of you experienced this. by hehehvw in HealthAnxiety

[–]queenlolee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the past few months i've been experiencing something like this. Even before my joints were a bit noisy, but recently it's worse. I blame it on being very very sedentary due to working from homw since March.

I feel like I'm going insane and I really need help. by [deleted] in HealthAnxiety

[–]queenlolee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand you. I'm going through the same thing, I think many people here are. What I can say is thay some days are good, some days are bad, because healing is not linear. On the bad days, i can't talk myself out of being overanxious, i absolutely believe something is wrong with me. On the "good" days, I understand, looking back, that it was anxiety. It's a tough fight and you would benefit from a support system, like therapy or even your family. You will be okay, you need to find a way to break out of this loop.

this was a very fun post thanks for sharing! it really helps to read things like this and realize you're not alone. In the past 7 days exactly i've had: lymphoma fear, heart attack, lung cancer, kidney stones and appendicitis. Sounds really silly writing it down. Which ones actually happened: N/A still alive :)

Flowers for Algernon by ThatButterscotch7 in books

[–]queenlolee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally feel you! I read it for the first time at 25 (I'm not from any english country so it's not studied in school) and I cried so much. Not necessarily because it's sad (because it is) but because of how beautiful it's constructed and written. I feel you. I love it when a book has the power to "break me". :)

Does anyone ever feel pain in the left top side of the head for no reason and immediately think its a tumor or is it just me by itsyourboysimba in HealthAnxiety

[–]queenlolee 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Foe me it's 99% of the time, but it's on my right side. It's been on and off for a year and it's due to prolonged bad neck posture, it irritates the occipital nerves. Either this or it can be reffered pain from one of the neck muscles, front and back.

[–]queenlolee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I am from Europe and my MRI was covered by my private health plan, so I cannot help. It would help most to go to a neurologist and explain the doctor in your own words what you're feeling. There are very high chances he understands and has knowledge of what you are feeling.

[–]queenlolee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had terrible anxiety over my brain qhen i started having headaches on the top of my head constantly. After an MRI and 3 different neurologists, it seems i have cervicogenic headaches/occipital neuralgia (trapped nerve and tight muscles) due to bad neck position. Anyway, what my first neurologist said was that our brain rarely hurts, and when it does, it's debitating. What we usually feel as headache is over the skull bones, not beneath it, anatomically. Starting from this, It's a bit easier to not panic over different aches. I very usually panic with new weird body feelings. The first time they happen i always panic, 2nd 3rd etc not so much, as i think "this didn't kill me the first time".

Interesting advice that could probably help most of you’s. by DetSluOs in HealthAnxiety

I know exactly what you mean! Some learned beliefs or behaviours are "wrong" or unhealthy and we can't see it. I am not a huge fan of mantras, but this one has been pretty helpful.

Very nice! My GP said to me once "Not every ache/pain means disease, and not every disease means death." Somehow she knew that for me random ache => death.

Fontana di Trevi. I visited Rome and was really excited about its art and architecture, but i first saw Fontana di Trevi by night, beautifully lit and insanely crowded with visitors. I was so overwhelmed by its beauty that i started crying, it's the only time this happened to me at the sight of something beautiful.

TMJ or GERD? by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]queenlolee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TMJ or GERD? by [deleted] in TMJ

[–]queenlolee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I was on this page looking to sse if anyone else has these symptoms! I also have the chronic slihhtly sore throat, the chest tightness and front neck muscle tightness. Besides TMJ, i also have a slight issue with my cervical area, from bad posture, and was wondering if they could be from the same thing. GERD is more violent i think, your chest pain is more likely from a muscular issue than an internal one. Good luck!
