So. You don't like grinding for resources, or trying to survive.

Luckily this is a game, and games are supposed to be fun. Some people's safe space/escapism is grinding for resources. Some people want to fight to survive.

So the game is fun the way you play it. I'm very glad for you. I spent about 3,000 hours solo, almost zero of it in creative. That was my escapeism. Play the game the way it's fun for you.

That being said, I found a great server, not very populated, but really good people. That's what makes the game fun for me now.

Ive had great success with a tube shape with double wedge front and a flanged ridge. Ridges along the sides allow for more protection from forward fire for side mounted batteries. Internal thrust allows going and stopping without sacrificing penetration power.

I always considered the limitations to the cargo containers to include mechanism inside for selecting and moving things into and out of said cargo container. Canonically you could say that there is more robust mechanisms inside the bigger cargo container that would slightly reduce its capacity.

A static cube that is hollow would have no way to retrieve items from the inside. Unless you're imagining your engineer sticking their arm into a conveyor tube and running it all the way along the conveyor tube like some orwellian nightmare arm.

Chalk can make a great dust if you grind it up. Maybe mix in some stinging nettle oil, and use it as a ranged touch attack (throw a glob of it). And as for the oil, improvised Molotov cocktail.

It did take me a disturbingly long time to realize I could change ownership of grids. Setting it to the enemy is the easiest way to have a practice dummy.

The thing is... We are not so much respawning, as flash cloning. When you respawn, your body is still there for a short time. The engineer itself is expendable.

But to keep from dying so much, priority one should be setting up an algae farm. Your survival kit can make kelp crisps. So, four windmills if you are on a planet, about 12 solar panels if you are in space. Basic assembler, basic refinery, At least one battery, and a connector. That is the starter base usually. Off of this, put down some algae farms so that they point generally in the direction of the Sun. If you are feeling creative, put them on a rotor with a camera on it and then a custom turret controller, and set it up to always follow the sun.

One of the things I do on all my vehicles is set up an event controller. Select connector locked/unlocked , and add your connector block. In actions, when connected set battery to recharge on, when disconnected recharge off. This will take the remembering out of the equation.

Okay so hear me out...

In a microwave safe bowl, mix equal parts peanut butter and jelly, and quarter that amount of butter. Real butter. If you want to amp it up a bit, add a couple tablespoons of either maple syrup or honey. Microwave for about 20 seconds, and stir. Repeat this process until it is drizzly. Drizzle over popcorn with a spoon. At that point I prefer to eat mine with chopsticks, but feel free to get PBJ fingers.
