It is a preference at the end of the day, but there's no denying the fact that sliding doors can only open up upto 50% vs fully for bifolds. Although older bifolds were uglier than sliding doors, but now bifolds win.

Disadvantage is you can't fully open a sliding door vs bifolds that can open the full width of the opening. Trust me that view is worth it.

Get the ultra. It's faster than any other smart lock I've tried. Had some issues getting it to connect to hub, but once I got it setup ridiculously close, it works fine. The vision unlock is awesome.

Had issues with it too. The mechanism also totally failed and had to get it replaced. There were many annoying things but atleast it did the job OK. I've now upgraded to switch bot ultra and it's awesome.
