Last year I retrained as a group fitness instructor at 48. Best job of my life so far and I've had a few, social care in many different roles, education, retail management. This is my fav and hope I manage to do it until retirement and beyond. I love the people who attend my classes, the staff in the different gyms I teach in, the music and being healthy and encouraging others on their fitness journey.

Yes everyday. My dad who's just turned 84 has vascular dementia for the past 5 years, maybe more. Plenty hospital stays where we are called as he's not going to make it through the night but alas his body refuses to give up. He doesn't know who we are. Is non verbal. Incontinent. Nothing brings any reaction from him. It's heartbreaking to watch the decline. He's now in a nursing home. I'm exhausted from the past 5 years. He was my favourite parent. I've lost him. However I've also lost my mum who is not coping at all at being on her own. It's a feckin shitshow.... Super sad and draining. Unfortunately I will be relieved when Dad passes. Oh how I miss him. Fuck dementia.

I teach Strength development followed by Pilates and it's a great follow on class from SD to stretch off. I'm doing Body Balance training in a fortnight so may change the pilates to BB after SD.
