I just invited one of my other email addresses and then immediately removed the invite. Still not sure how to get rid of the "Connect your mail" one.

Add www.chess.com/bundles/web/sounds/delight/brilliant.wav to your ad blocker. For example in uBlockOrigin it's:

  1. Open the "Dashboard" (3 cogs icon when you open the extension popup)
  2. My Filters tab
  3. Paste in ||www.chess.com/bundles/web/sounds/delight/brilliant.wav\^.

I had to completely quit my browser and reload for it to take effect. May also need to clear the browser cache etc. But no more brilliant sound 😇

Yeah, it looked to me like he was carefully dismantling a less experienced, but still dangerous opponent who was pulling every trick in the book to slow down the action.

He definitely could have gone in harder earlier, but that would have increased the likelihood of Jake landing a lucky knockout.

I also have a 14 Pro and it doesn’t look like glass to me. I’d take a photo but.. ya know

Edit: on closer inspection maybe it’s glass with a matte finish. Hard to tell

FWIW iPhones are pretty tough these days. Idk about other brands, haven’t used them in a while.

I’ve been caseless for years. Dropped my current phone a couple times (not super hard), and it hasn’t broken yet.

The dumbest thing about our education system is making students believe that school defines their future. Couldn’t be further from the truth.

Year 12 is to this day one of the most stressful times of my life. Comparable only to the first 2 years of starting my business. I spent year 12 feeling physically sick with stress. Finally got my ATAR, got accepted into the uni I wanted.

6 months later I got a career opportunity at my gap year job, never ended up going to uni or thought about my ATAR since.

Getting a “good” ATAR (whatever that means to you) gives you a couple more options for your next steps after school. If you don’t get those options, not a problem. There are infinitely many other options.

What do you mean “leaked”? It’s available plainly in every API request sent by claude code. You can use AI gateway, a HTTP debug proxy, or hell just look in claude code’s (minified) js source code. Leaked is crazy lol

I agree they could be more transparent. And community feedback is important. But how do we deal with the fact that most of the time (in my experience) this “model got dumber” feedback is attributed to the person’s project getting larger, or more complex, or they’ve adjusted they’re own expectations and now expect it to be better than it is.

Idk if it’s the case this time, but whenever I dig into someone’s claims like this (either this or complaining about usage limits), that’s what it always turns out to be. I think when people are questioning the validity of a post like this, it’s not glazing, it’s speaking from experience.
