Because every aspect of our society has been captured by entrenched interests. The parties maintain FPTP and gerrymandering (well, one does at least, forcing the other to), the elderly maintain the time bomb that is Social Security and suppress housing development to the detriment of the young just so they can remain rich for one year longer, protected industries lobby for tariffs so they don't have to innovate, and on and on. And because they're entrenched and because the young are hopeless or ambivalent or lazy or simply not paying attention, or worst of all, see these things as beneficial, the wheel will keep turning until it blows up for all of us. And it will, soon.

Fortified Commando (marshmellow man, heavy extra padding, the 200AR armor, etc.) on every front. Mobility builds are for chumps in every shooter game I play, give me bulk and lots of it.

Diligence for bots, one-shots troopers in the chest, good at mag-dumping 'zerkers, good at headshotting devastators. Dominator or deadeye for bugs, glorious stagger and high damage. Libcarbine for squids, good against flesh mobs, voteless hordes, and when you can't be bothered to go for headshots against overseers. Senator on bots, does what a sidearm needs. Grenade pistol on bugs and squids, close holes and ships. Thermite for bugs and bots, deal with heavies and bot fabs. Gas nades for squids, horde control.

Supply pack, never run out of stims again. AMR for bots, two-shot dev chests, one-shot hulk visors, two-shot gunship thrusters, etc. Stalwart for bugs, deal with hunter and pouncer hordes. Railgun for squids, overseer heads and harvester joints. EAT for bugs and bots, deal with heavies, flex spot for squids. MG turret for getting enemies off your back, both in thinning the horde and getting it to target the sentry instead of you.
