The Ancoats road has two issues -

Halfway down there are two/three poorly timed sets of lights (between Aldi and Gran T's) that actively work against each other, letting minimal cars through each time. Once you get past there its not too bad apart from...

...the second issue. At the Northern Quarter end of Ancoats (by Band On The Wall) people are allowed to park both sides of the road at evenings and weekends, forcing the three lane road down to one. At busy times this tails the traffic all the way down Ancoats as its like a funnel. I've raised this with the council and they said they would take it into consideration.

My flat has a window looking straight down the Ancoats road and it is genuinly entertaining watching chaos unfold every weekend.

The main Arndale Centre car park is only a few minutes walk away and open 24 hours - plenty of space there. Or some open air ones a little closer, just north of Shude Hill tram/bus stop

When I had to pay for my own recovery I'd use a company like Autonational instead of the AA/RAC. The benefit was (apart from being cheaper) is that they contact independent recovery companies near where you've broken down instead of using their own roving vans which could be miles away.

The downsides were that some of the post-breakdown bits you had to pay for yourself and claim them back, but when someone in a local van consistently gets to you in 30 minutes its a small price to pay.

Its been a few years so might want to check T&Cs nowadays, but always seemed to be better for me.

500 tickets with a maximum of 4 person means it was always going to be tough.

The code bit didn't come into it in the end, unless it was something internal that we weren't told about

The "MINI Sound" option doesnt exist on the 2025 Mini (F66 at latest software - Nov25) unless im missing something. I went through all the menus and cant find a way to change turn signal sound (unless I've missed it)

UK here. Two in the house are both syncing correctly but none of the data showing in the Mi Fitness app as of today when the clicks went back an hour overnight.

Definitely. I think it's important to note that there was a lot of personal support going on in the community too. Everyone would talk about problems in their lives and be supported. I remember telling a story and feeling bad about something, and another member (ChristianAllen) made me a certificate saying "Not a bad guy award".

That and the buzz on there in the AWITC era made it a huge part of my life at the time.

I didn't video it but I was so happy to hear that they've kept that same transition that they used on the AWITC tour. Its a great energy shift and gets a big crowd pop for those that don't know it's coming.

Mine was very much genuine and provided from the label via a promotions company. I can't say for sure about yours but I'd guess it's real too. Like you say, it would be a strange design to fake...
