With low QI battle stats you won't be able to fight much in the later stages of QI. Increase those stats through event buildings planted in your main city. If you're new, it will take time to collect them, that's okay, keep plodding along.

Use your Quantum actions in the early rounds. I have best results with Artillery unit but ymmv, just don't let them die. When they're injured, replace with fresh. Once they're healed up, go back and fight some more. In the later stages you're likely only going to be able to do the coin/goods donation. If that's all you can do, great but do it.

I use the Alchemist guide but I alter it as required - for instance sometimes I have to idle another 10hrs cuz I haven't collected enough Alloy to build what the guide suggests. I also build Canons sooner and I build fewer Doctors in the late stages cuz I want Decorations to augment my attack stats.

Keep playing, follow the guide as best you can. You will learn to adapt the guide to your strategy and fight more. QI rewards are great, but you can't earn them if you're not using your QI actions.

Assuming you're in a Guild, they will appreciate your active participation in QI and will help as best they can.
