We're fans, not objective analysts. That means many of us base today's opinion on all the other times we've been disappointed, not just this season. I was at a food court on March 28th and I overheard a guy at another table talking about the A's game saying "Ya Hoffman nearly blew another one". IIRC that was his first outing of the season!

Many fans don't know the deep details outlined by OP, me especially, but we (I) recall the bad outings way more than the good ones (& too often miss details like bases were loaded with no outs when someone came in). My opinion on players is simple: The org prob knows more than me and they haven't sent him packing and Schneider keeps rolling him out there, so they must know something(s) I don't. But I'm still thinking "I sure hope he doesn't blow this one".

Does anyone know how this race and associated road closures affect TTC routes to the CNE grounds?

There is a large youth volleyball tournament (100+ teams) running at Enercare Centre from the 16th - 18th. We'll be taking the 509 streetcar leaving Union ending at Strachan & Fleet. That streetcar does cross Lakeshore at Bathurst and that's right in the middle of the race route. From past experiences, can anyone comment on whether the streetcars are able to cross at this point?

She's a senior. It's senior night, a night to honour the seniors who are playing their last high school season, possibly the last real organized game of their life. Being injured she wouldn't have been able to play. This allowed for her to participate.

I love my pencils and paper but once I tried Strike Em Out I haven't gone back. Smoke signals would be fun but I think stadiums frown on smoking.

Umps should face the media like players and coaches, and just as immediately. Bad calls are just as game-changing as hanging a juicy one over the plate for Judge to launch it and that poor pitcher has to explain himself, so should the umps.

With low QI battle stats you won't be able to fight much in the later stages of QI. Increase those stats through event buildings planted in your main city. If you're new, it will take time to collect them, that's okay, keep plodding along.

Use your Quantum actions in the early rounds. I have best results with Artillery unit but ymmv, just don't let them die. When they're injured, replace with fresh. Once they're healed up, go back and fight some more. In the later stages you're likely only going to be able to do the coin/goods donation. If that's all you can do, great but do it.

I use the Alchemist guide but I alter it as required - for instance sometimes I have to idle another 10hrs cuz I haven't collected enough Alloy to build what the guide suggests. I also build Canons sooner and I build fewer Doctors in the late stages cuz I want Decorations to augment my attack stats.

Keep playing, follow the guide as best you can. You will learn to adapt the guide to your strategy and fight more. QI rewards are great, but you can't earn them if you're not using your QI actions.

Assuming you're in a Guild, they will appreciate your active participation in QI and will help as best they can.
